Great food. Filling and fresh! Lighting was a bit too intense and at times a chilly breeze seems to go by. Bring a couple layers during winter I highly recommend the burger with haggis.

It came recommend at the hotel and the sample menu showed vegetarian options so we went. Service was slow despite going soon after opening and before the dinner rush. There was only option that was vegetarian friendly and that was after I asked for the meat to be taken off. They were also sold out of dessert. Again we went soon after they opened for the day.

Wanted to visit for a while was bitterly disappointed my steak arrived in good time as did my wife's however her steak was all grizzle and though they happily cooked her a fresh steak by the time it arrived I had finished mine so had to sit and watch her eat her meal. Which kind of defeated the purpose of going for a meal together. No discount or apology offered. View menu

Outstanding! Had the pan fried duck special and couldn't have been more pleased. The entree was perfectly prepared and so were the accompanying vegetables (red cabbage and a mashed potato dish). Beautifully plated as well. Didn't expect such good fare. Price was perfect too Our party of are wonderful meals and each of us had a glass of wine. Total bill was just under

Waiter literally went in a bad mood throwing down the menu when we asked him to wipe the sticky table!! stating that he already had!! We also had to ask for the cold soup to be heated up, warm bowl but cold contents. The main course, mashed potatoes..not so very lumpy, again cold sauce for over chewy chicken. We have been here before, it was fine, not now. We will not be back.

We decided to try this restaurant based on a recommendation from our hotel and the sample menu showcasing vegetarian options. However, despite arriving early before the dinner rush, the service was slow. There was only one vegetarian-friendly option available, and I had to ask for the meat to be removed. Disappointingly, they were also sold out of dessert when we visited shortly after opening for the day.

I went for the lunch menu and there were only two other couples there at the time. I ordered the minute steak on ciabatta. Everything was served hot, but unfortunately the steak was tough and of low quality. The waitress offered to cook a fresh one, which they did, but by the time it arrived, my partner had to sit and watch me eat my entire meal. There was no offer of a discount or any compensation. Overall, it was a rather disappointing experience.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The service was very poor, with the exception of one server who was trying his best. The steaks were not cooked as requested; the Rare came out as medium and vice versa. I ordered Sirloin but was served Rump instead. Despite the mix-up, the steaks were tasty, but it was a shame as they could have been delicious. The kids' fish dish had more batter than fish, and the kids' steak was overdone to the point of being brittle. A burger came out raw in the middle, causing the rest of us to finish our meals before it was served again. It was difficult to get anyone's attention for drinks and the bill.
