"Really disappointed by the poor service and attitude of the woman who was serving tonight. Very abrupt and impatient. You could tell she was in a hurry to go home we weren't even asked if would like coffee's or dessert there were 13 of us and she even left before we did and we left at 9. 30ish.Would have been finished earlier had we not waited well over an hour for our mains. There is usually a lovely softly spoken Greek lady taking orders and serving who is the epitome of politeness the person serving tonight could take some lessons from her."

I got a takeaway Sunday lunch but l was very disappointed with the food mash potato was not good it was slope and the gravy as well l would not go back it was the first time and he last so disappointed

wow simply had here too afternoon after it was recommended to tell me the best lasagne I had anywhere great service great atmosphere and very nice staff would highly recommend there was an attempt to give them not be disappointed.

on Friday I visited my 2 daughters. eating was amazing. extremely generous portion size. so full there was no place for dessert. my 5 year old daughter calls now to make her their secret place where we can only visit her. can't wait to come back. View menu

Having been to opa on numerous occasions, I chose this place to have my mams small gathering of family to celebrate her 80th birthday. As always food and hospitality was absolutely amazing. There is no better place to eat in North shields in my opinion, and nowhere else around where you can feel like you are in Greece

I celebrated my birthday here today. We had their lovely crusty bread and butter, butter beans in tomato sauce prawn cocktail chicken gyros bread salad tzatziki and chips, all delicious but best of all Greek meatballs in tomato sauce. Brilliant staff and fabulous food. Huge portions reasonable bill. Couldn’t be happier
