"So expensive!! £7.85 for poached eggs on avocado on sour dough bread. They made a mistake with my order, the waitress took it back out to the chef who got the order note out of the bin to check it. Made me the right dish. Wouldn’t of minded so much if I didn’t wait 25 mins for the first order or if they’d even apologised for the delay and their mistake."

"For our main course, we both chose the roast beef, served with mashed potatoes and baby roast potatoes, accompanied by Yorkshire pudding filled with carrots and peas in a rich gravy. The beef was incredibly tender, practically melting in our mouths—a truly magnificent dish. We usually skip dessert, but for an extra £2, we couldn’t resist trying some. My wife had the lemon balm dessert, and I opted for the ice cream with shortbread, both of which were excellently presented and delicious. We washed it all down with a good wine. I highly recommend Greys for a beautiful meal and attentive service. 10/10!"

"first night after the lock, my man and I decided to visit golf club. Previously, it was one of our favorite places. but there were some disappointing visits. but on Wednesday, the 12th august, we booked a table. pleasantly young...girl showed us on our table, have us a menu each. another worker came for our order, I started placing my order and was very suddenly told that the menu was out. I explained that the menu was given, suddenly the menu was snapped out of my hand and the member was in my face, and said the menu was available until 4.30. I'll pull my hand up to push it out of my face. no social distance. I said the menu was given to me. I was informed that she was managerin and should know. I just wanted to get out of this place, but had come out to enjoy us. I politely placed my order when my meal arrived, I noticed a great hair wrapped around my chips, I informed the very rude managerin that removed the side order and later replaced. wa i received 10% of my bill for the fusion. I will never be back in this restaurant, and I could not recommend it either. I also noticed that the tables were cleaned with a W5 wipe that the chairs and table, I would expect the furniture to be cleaned properly, which is due to the current situation."

"We went to this restaurant for a quick meal and I must say, I was quite disappointed. We ordered garlic prawns, but what arrived at our table were 5 small fried prawns with half a fried white onion. For my starter, I ordered smoked chicken, but it turned out to be chicken pieces with another half fried onion and some hot pepper flakes. The honey chilli chicken main dish had a red sauce that tasted and smelled like vinegar. My husband's sirloin was not very tasty, except for the chips. The meat had a thick rind of fat, and the dish was served with grey green peas and more fried onions. The gravy that came with the sirloin was so gelatinous that my husband couldn't eat it. We wanted to complain, but there was only one young server and an older lady taking orders, with no one else in the restaurant. The place was freezing, with only a small fan heater on the floor. It was early on a Tuesday at 5pm, but to serve fried onions as a garnish and offer smoked chicken without actually having it was disappointing. Additionally, the website advertised an early bird set menu for £10 per person, but when we arrived, it was actually £14 per person, with an additional charge of £3 for steak or if we wanted tea or dessert."

"Came especially for the vegan menu (I’m vegetarian as I heard good things about it. Drove from Lisburn all the way to Parkgate and had 2 very enjoyable nights. First night I had the cauliflower popcorn (bit too salty for my liking and the sweet potato roulade (amazing! . My husband had the soup of the day (very nice and the risotto (little bit stodgy, looked as if cooked too quick . For dessert I had the apple/berry crumble which was very nice and husband had sticky toffee (also gorgeous! . Decaf oat latte’s at the end sealed the deal. Just delighted to be able to order a good decaf coffee! Next evening returned with a friend. I had the salted chilli stir fry (verrry salty, but that’s what it says on the tin and the cauliflower pie. The pie was a bit of a let down. The gravy was overbearing, essentially, the whole dish tasted of gravy. I would have preferred to get it in a dish on the side (like with the roulade to add the amount I prefer myself. Same desserts again this evening, both again very nice. Service was ok, young girls mainly and you could tell some were a bit inexperienced but that really didn’t impact us. Food came out super quick! I will def be back, altho I won’t be ordering the pie again and I hope next time I will be able to try the “scallops” as they were sold out both nights (sat 6pm and sun 7.30pm and they just sounded amazing! If your hesitating to go for the vegan menu, don’t!! It’s the best vegan offering I have encountered to date. I really hope they keep it up."
