A decent selection of food including Christmas specials but unfortunately I chose a risotto which was pretty bland and wasn't more than a warmed up rice

Understaffed and staff didn’t listen to order correctly then left waiting for ages for a very underwhelming dessert. This is the third time we have been disappointed and the last.

We visited PREZZO in Upminster today and for £105 we were very disappointed! Dry chicken burger, bland bolognese and bland carbonara, really not worth the money next time will will go to wimpy or McDonald’s. A group of 4 of us visited for lunch on a weekday. It was quiet but cozy, and the waitress was nice. Food didn’t take long, and tasted good we got a risotto, spaghetti, rigatoni and a vegan pizza. It all tasted good, however the food portions were frankly quite bad. The risotto especially was tiny, it was more like a starter than a main yet it cost over £17! We aren’t intending to come back, however we do love the Prezzos in Chelmsford.

We went for early Sunday lunch (9/7/23) and everything was great! Given a nice booth to sit in, drinks order taken quickly considering the young waitress was really busy. Wine n beer both perfect. Shared a starter and both had pasta mains and then shared a dessert. All was well presented and tasted lovely. We were delighted as sometimes Prezzo can be a bit disappointing but not this time. Well done to the chef and our lovely waitress. We will be back!

I've been here several times, the latest being a Christmas dinner with friends. Staff are friendly and professional and the decor is great. My favourite dish is the seabass. Seabass is excellent in most restaurants but it's exceptional here. Very tasty indeed. The desserts are also superb, as are the pizzas. I like everything about this place except the parking. Parking is an absolute nightmare. If you're lucky you'll get a space right outside but usually we have to drive around for half an hour looking for a space. Much easier to go by taxi. View menu

Five of us went to Prezzo in Upminster and were underwhelmed by the service and the food. Granted it was midweek, but the whole point of going to a restaurant to eat it to be catered for. The table and ambience were fine. The service although friendly, it was sloppy. We were caught between the two. Our waitress worked hard but wasn’t well supported by the Team. Our food was poor at best. Our starters arrived at different times which mean’t that some people were eating cold food. The main courses were a combination of over cooked or undercooked. After using Prezzo here for many years and usually always very good it was very disappointing on Sunday. The restaurant was empty which surprised me especially this time of year admittedly football was on but was very odd. The place was so cold I had to ask for the heating to go on. The food was disappointing this time I had Calamari as no cheese for starters available Calamari was not something I would normally order. My chicken burger was only luke warm. My husband and daughter had the gnocchi and prawns they said very bland. The gorgonzola pizza my daughter had the garlic butter on top had not melted and the ham was just thrown on top 2 pieces ! Okay, the first choice (Beef in Chianti) was not available (no apology). I was told the alternative was a beef burger. There was nothing similar, so I opted for the Crab and Lobster Ravioli. In terms of the dish, it was a little light, especially given the price something between a starter and main. The taste, well it was pretty numb: there was no identifiable taste of crab or lobster. I wasn't expecting Sheekies standard of food for the price, but it was still disappointing. That said the staff were pleasant. I tried my partner's Cabonara.
