"The Reedham Ferry Inn is a lovely 16th century building sat beside the River Yare, in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. The approach from the south is via a chain link ferry adding to the atmosphere surrounding the Inn. I met friends there that I hadn't seen for years as they were touring Norfolk, so the Inn was a great spot to meet as it was equi distant for myself and them to travel. It turned out to be a great choice as it's a wonderful spot, service and food were good typical pub fare, but good, nonetheless. I'll definitely be back, and maybe in my campervan for a short break there are some fantastic places to explore."

This restaurant may be a little tricky to locate, but it's worth the effort. With the help of a trusty map, we found our way there and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and there was even free parking available with beautiful views. Overall, a great dining experience that I highly recommend. Ratings: Food 5, Service 5, Atmosphere 5.

"Where do I even begin? The service from the woman behind the bar was shocking. When I inquired about dairy-free options for my son, I was told that nothing could be modified and that they don't cater to allergies at all! I pointed out the menu's claim that they could accommodate such needs, but my concerns were met with an eye roll. I then tried to order him some chips, but was told they were fried in the same oil as dairy and meat products, and since we are vegetarian, that wouldn't work. I asked about the vegan dishes, only to learn that they are also prepared alongside meat products, so there's no guarantee they would actually be vegan. At this point, my daughters had already become excited about eating out and the play area, so I reluctantly decided to go along with it and ordered three sandwiches on granary bread and a child's fish and chips. My son had a packet of crisps. When the sandwiches arrived, they were absolutely terrible. The cheese and onion sandwich consisted of two slices of cheap store-bought bread, some pre-grated cheese, and a few onion slices—without even a hint of butter! It certainly wasn’t inexpensive; we paid £45 for four soft drinks, three sandwiches, and a child's meal. As for the play area, it was concerning—there were sharp screws poking through the wood chips, loose sharp fixtures on top of the slide, and a large exposed electric cable under the swings! We decided to leave swiftly; it was such a disappointing way to end our holiday, when it should have been a lovely final meal before heading home. I was appalled by their attitude towards me—I felt like an inconvenience. The food was awful, and I genuinely recommend avoiding this place if you are vegan or have allergies; even if a dish is labeled vegan, they certainly don’t take the necessary precautions to keep it separate from meat products. It’s truly unfortunate, as the location by the river is beautiful, and we were all so excited to be there, but we left feeling very disappointed. We definitely won't be returning."
