"Had a Christmas lunch here with work colleagues which was excellent so wanted to go back and try again. Took some friends along last night and the food was again excellent. Plenty to chose for everyone in the party and most of us ate three courses. The food was well prepared and served piping hot. Special mention for the awesome cheeseboard. Everyone had a lovely evening and we will definitely be back soon."

they have made a great job, the pub looks fab. we enjoyed a beautiful meal of children fish plus a chicken and chips, I had the banana flower that was delicious and nackenby had a chicken caesar salat. all delicious desserts are also recommended!

Friendly staff and good quality food, but I did think the portion sizes were too big. We were too full for pudding. Also the chairs in the restaurant would be better with a cushion and the toilets definitely need improving. Overall an enjoyable evening had by all. View menu

new management. nice to see the place was well protected. we went for a drink, sat in the beer garden in the back and stayed for a meal. we had the fish and chips and it was really delicious. enjoys it and would recommend it. the staff is young and still learns, but I'm sure it's okay.

the pub has just opened again and we went to the first week-long live service. that was great. service was great. the personal tried very hard, although it was very new to them. completely refurbished and is clean and fresh and welcoming. we will be coming back in definitiw. recommend the burger and the cheesecake
