"Amazing pub! The staff are very accommodating, the food is delicious, and the decor is fantastic. I give it a perfect 5/5 rating! On both of my recent visits, they went above and beyond to meet our special needs, such as providing a table suitable for a wheelchair user and seating us in a dog-friendly area. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful throughout. They even gave our little dog some treats (he also gives it a 5/5)! And let's not forget about the delicious Sunday roast. Overall, I highly recommend this place!"

"I made a last-minute reservation for Sunday lunch and I was not disappointed. The Sunday menu offered an impressive selection of starters, mains, and roasts, which was great to see—unlike some places that only serve roast on Sundays. The food was outstanding, featuring a delightful array of roasted vegetables and sides, some of which were unlimited, like potatoes and cauliflower cheese. The staff were exceptional as well, being attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"We stayed last night and had a beautiful room clean warm and very spacious with great parking . However we went into the resturant which was full. There was a very full table of 10 or more to our left . They still hadn't had their full courses and were still waiting after 2 hours . We were waiting for a cookie to arrive with our hot drink but no one knew they were out of stock except for the off duty cook Ellie who came to rescue with chocolate brownie and saved the day . Glasses everywhere over the bar it appeared true kaos. Dishes everywhere also No direction organising waiting staff , even though they were rushed off their feet no one appeared to be in charge . Waiting staff doing their best I went to the loo on my way out only to hear more complaints of people waiting an hour for food only to be told they had run out of pies. I would highly recommend accommodation and breakfast made by Ellie but would avoid eating here of an evening atm . Please Managers sort it out!! "The service and wecome was warm and pleasant.. The ambience and open fire qas welcoming. The cocktail was nice. The starters were good. The mains were really disappointing. The chateaubriand was poor@ we have had better from Cote at home. The veg was dire, lettice with a butter topping the chips were no better than Mccain. Despite feedback the full bill was paid inc a service charge of £47 for 3 people. I will not be going back. Overpriced. Local pubs have the same seevice and much better food. London House was 10 times better. Very disappointed"

"The pub is tucked away behind a private road with ample parking behind and in front of green, the amenities are clean and comfortable with diners high chairs and tables as well and the traditional seating and tables. It offers seating outside in the garden area as the front of house some with cover, although the front seating can experience gush of wind as it’s mainly in shade most of day, great place for family and the Sunday carvery is an absolute gem the roasties are best I’ve eaten the selection of vegetables are very good especially the parsnips and roasted veg, the plates are good size please feel free to pile on what you want even Yorkshire puds. The meat selection looks amazing but tastes rather bland and the only reason why I don’t offer 5 stars is the price and the waiting around as it is best to book ahead for the carvery as demand high, why prices keep going up but value and quality remains same, friendly staff and it is an enjoyable experience."
