Thankyou to all the lovely staff here today . Food was lovely and they really helped us with our dad who wasent feeling to good .excellent service

Called for carvery with family friends, met by excellent helpful staff who could not do enough for you, the carvery was exceptional and served by a friendly chef. Will call again

4th visit whilst in Scarborough fantastic once again can't fault the friendlyness of the staff nothing to much bother at Filey again on 16th March for a week will definitely visit View menu

Third visit here over the years took my friend whilst on holiday in Filey who loves a carvery as always excellent service can't fault it was different to have bubble and squeek definitely visit again when in Scarborough for the new year

Popped in for the £5 carvery menu not really knowing what to expect but we were all very pleasantly surprised. The food was really tasty and the staff friendly and welcoming. We couldn't fault anything. Unfortunately, the carvery left no room for puddings. Definitely worth a visit.

Asked for two coffees and an orange juice which seemed way too much Trouble for the person serving he plonked two empty mugs on counter and only when i had paid and actually asked did he say you help yourself it's up the other end and to the left ,when I got there no coffee available so had to have Tea ,shocking customer service will not use again . This was our second visit and like the first we had Set Menu for £11.49 for 2 courses. There was a very good choice and we decided on Traditional Carvery and Apple Pie. We had turkey and beef which were cooked perfectly with a lovely choice of veg. The Apple Pie and custard was also very nice with plenty of custard. The staff were very friendly . I can't recommend this place highly enough. We will certainly visit again when in the area. Thank-you

Treated the family to a 3 course Boxing Day special, i am sorry to say on this occasion it was very disappointing, the burgers were tasteless the bread buns were burnt the chicken was overcooked and hard , the custard on the deserts was I would say at room temperature and certainly not piping hot as the menu stated , I would recommend if anyone was going to visit this pub to stick to the carvery or the pizzas as we have never had a problem with these ,

We came for lunch yesterday 21 01 24. All 20 of us for our annual family get together. The staff OUTSTANDING. (Thank you) The food OUTSTANDING (Thank you) you made our get together a special day. Thank you, this was our 3rd consecutive year to have our get together at scalby. All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart oh yes and get prepared because we will be back in January 2025, well the hubby and I will be back before then, we travelled from Beverley, Driffield and Doncaster .thanks again guys for your hospitality.
