Lovely business lunch there today, the surf n turf is to die for! Fantastic service and great food as well as a lovely view.

It's a great restaurant. Food is great and if you get a table by the window the view is fabulous. Would definitely recommend.

large menu, efficient, friendly staff, great menu had the hard fish delish! Beyond that they sat on the terrace, over which search for solent waters saw the ships sail past. perfect evening.

Had a absolutely fab Xmas Meal here recently best value and menu in area in my opinion and didn't fail to deliver only gripe is the steak was served medium rather than medium rare but it was delicious and the Xmas pudding cheesecake very well executed!

What a great find! Sadly, the actual entrance to Seashells Restaurant is incredibly shabby (needs a sweep, a good coat of paint and maybe a heavy planter? so much so that we nearly decided to give it a miss but having phoned to check that they could indeed do #glutenfree fish chips we went in. Fabulous location overlooking #waterfront Hythe Pier with views right across to Southampton! Great #gf fish chips, but also quite extensive menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. The owner really should do something about the entrance it lets restaurant and their team down. Dietary restrictions: Staff knowledgable and helpful.

Was in hythe for the evening so decide to go to seashells , have been many times before , but first time for evening meal . It was very very busy but was able to get a table . It was my husbands first visit had raved about it to him in the passed .our order was taken an d starters came in about 15mins . We then waited for our mains , as I said it was very busy , but after waiting 1hour I was not happy as still waiting so called waiter over saying we had been waiting over 1hour , just then our main came out . He did apologise have a free drink on the house . The food was lovely will go again only when it's not so busy

My wife I visited last night, with the intention of having a few drinks. We're new parents and came to Dibden to visit the grandparents who kindly offered to babysit so we could enjoy a night out. We arrived at Seashells and even though it was quite busy, the bar was completely free. We stood at the bar for 5 mins straight, again, with nobody else around. All 3 girls behind the bar ignored us pretended to be busy, even going as far as to avoid eye contact. Not to mention they all looked miserable as sin.
