"We had been informed about this place by a family member who had visited. We have passed it on many occasions but unfortunately it was closed so whilst on holiday this week we made the effort to go there. I have to day my initial reaction was not to go in as there was no one in at the time. However my partner said otherwise and in We went. Well I am so glad we did...the place so reminded me of some places we had been in Poland. Its very small but so cosy. We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival. We were served very promptly and allowed time to select our food. I choose yhf double cheeseburger and my partner had a poke me bowl plus we had some halomui fries.....we did not have to wait to long for our food. When it arrived it looked so delicious and well presented. It has to be one of the best burgers I gave ever had, the halomui fries were outstanding and my partners poke me bowl was delicious. We most definitely will be going back when we are back in November and not just for one visit...there is enough choice on the menu to keep going back. So if you find yourself in Bishop Auckland them make this a place of destination....you will be amazed."

We were a little bit iffy about going in but are we ever glad we did. Wonderful food, great ambiance on the patio out back. We had pizza and burritos and they were excellent.

this place has the best food in bishop, always packed full of flavour, amazing quality which shows a clear passion that the proprietors have for their product. I love the cheesus burger with chips, it is a bit big but I persevere and finish it because it is just so tasty

I wish the app allowed me to give 5 stars, but I would highly recommend the vegan breakfast in Spudfellas in Bishop Auckland. The staff is so attentive and accepts allergen-specific requests. The broken avocado and rosemary and herbal potatoes are excellent, the food made to order is always hot. Spudfellas also offers a selection of vegan items on their main menu, which are just as delicious.

We visited here for the first time last night. Originally thought it was just potatoes but it does so much more, burgers, pizza, chips etc. I had pulled pork burger with chips and my husband had chilli con carne burger with chips. The chips were gorgeous as were the burgers and very filling. I had 1 cocktail and my husband had 2 and it came to £42.90. I would highly recommend service was great too and nice atmosphere.

"started really well and went to the counter and ordered a cream with bananas and nutella and especially gave no earthberries I also asked after a san pelegríno still water as this was on the menu. I was the first person to order and the last to eat at the end. I brought my water over which was a cheaper brand water I just had £2 for what I would like to have seen? we will, when asked for san pelligrino to say water that they do not in. Finally my crepe and I take a bite and understand that it is earthly on the whole species and wise by which I am allergic. one of my family members takes it back and says that I have asked for bananas, there is no earthly reason why I cannot eat it and did not want it on my crepe. then 5 minutes later another crêpe comes out, who was my bite crêpe, that someone had put the earthy and banan in the bananas. disgusting ... not sure whether this was a mistake or just stingy either as it did not. it is then returned because there is no way I eat, and it is explained again, there is a reason that I can not eat strawberries, to which then one of the owners passes to serve the right crepe and apology. I really hope that today a lection has been learned because cross-contamination is not a sweat. please be careful when they eat there. I didn't get any refunds offered, but then they were ready to serve me a bite crawl, so it didn't surprise me so much."
