"We stayed in the hotel which happens to be in the same building, so going to Steak Boutique was as easy as going downstairs without even going outside. That’s actually the least attractive feature of this place food and service is so great that I would easily walk there for 5 km and still be as happy after. First of all, the service is simply flawless. There were 2 extremely nice and helpful guys serving us, giving recommendations, asking about our preferences and what not. Wine was always added into our glasses when it was getting low. Secondly, the food was excellent. We took some scallops, t bone from Nebraska, wagyu from Miyazaki and some vegetables on a side. T bone was cooked as we ordered and it was very juicy and tasty. The only regret we had is that our lunch that day was a bit big, so we weren’t hungry enough to finish the steak. Wagyu was even better than t bone, which sounds impossible, really. But it’s quite specific beef, so not everyone likes it more than “regular” beef. We do, so it was heavenly good. Side dish was also a nice surprise. It’s hard to expect anything special when it comes to vegetables, but these were probably cooked in a wok, so were in Asian style which worked really well with the meat. And lastly, wines were great as well. We had 2 bottles because this is what adults do. And some Prosecco in the beginning to get in the mood. Before Graz, we were in Vienna (for the 4th time) for 5 days and I must say that Steak Boutique alone was worth the trip. Bill was around 350 EUR (without tips) which might sound a lot, but wagyu alone was almost 100 and 2 bottles of wine were 130. So if 2 people want to have some nice steak and either drink some simpler wine or not drink wine at all I’m sure that 120 140 EUR would be enough. Which is actually good value considering that steaks are never cheap and really good ones are not offered in each place you see. In Vienna, having some much simpler dishes would cost the same. In the end, I must say that Steak Boutique was one of the highlights of this 8 day trip. And it was the last dinner we had before leaving Austria, so a great end of the journey."
