Summer Palace - Menu

The service at this restaurant was awful. The woman I spoke to on the phone forgot to include my order of chips, and then tried to charge me twice for delivery even though I had already paid £50 for my meal.

We placed a takeaway order at 5:55pm on a Saturday for a 7:30pm delivery, but it arrived lukewarm at 8:20pm. Despite apologies, we were still charged £4.50 for delivery. We will not be ordering from them again.

Me and a friend ordered a takeaway from here a few weeks ago and again the other day, both times I havnt been disappointed with the quality of food or anything else for that matter. Will be ordering from here again in the near future. View menu

Absolute Rubbish Takeaway! Chicken Cashew nuts with Celery pieces in it!? Beef in Plum sauce only half portion! Sweet sour ribs was awful! No actual ribs only ends with hardly any meat. Different chef? A total waste of money! Will not be ordering...again!

Been using this place since it opened an can say iv never had a bad meal here or take away! They can get a bit busy an yes you are waiting a little longer for your food when busy which is understandable! Large Extensive menu...with good choices off beers an wines! Would recommend

I've been here before, but never again. Today I paid £30 (including delivery) for very mediocre food. the main course was bright orange and the chicken dish was mainly carrots. that was so good. time for a total time;...others will be the competition to what used to be an excellent place for the abduction din in the food. I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars! Avoid it at all costs. We ordered from here last night and our food arrived over 40 minutes late, stone cold, and in extremely small portion sizes. We spent £30 on food that went to waste. When we called management to complain, they were extremely rude, claiming that the food was delivered in a heatproof bag - it wasn't, it was delivered in a cardboard box. On top of that, we were charged £4 for delivery. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

had a retreat last week that disappointed me! my wife had huh with a lemon and honey sauce she said was delicious. I had bark with green paprika and black bean sauce. the rice and the sauce were very tasty and well cooked, unfortunately. the bark was hard, chewing and with half of it completely unusable. it seems a scandal that restaurants and takeaways do not serve the quality of the meat that is delivered, before serving it to careless customers! I was also shocked to inform that the delivery was £6 when I was already charged £18.50 for the two meals!

Simply excellent Chinese food! In my experience a good Chinese takeaway is actually a very rare find. Chinese food is so often greasy and over-flavoured not so at the summer palace! We have tried many of the Chinese takeaways in Padiham and yet over...the last three years we keep coming back to summer palace simply because of the quality of the food. Service is generally very friendly, especially so recently. We live locally and always choose takeout, because the restraunt’s decor itself is a bit shabby: the lighting is quite harsh, there is yellow high vis tape tying things together and it feels like it hasn’t been refurbed in 20 years.
