Odd there is no draught cider. Excellent service and superb food. Really liked the smoked fish roe sharer starter with sour dough crackers. Rooms at the back were warm and snug with neutral decor. Good bed. Powerful shower and local shower wash. Coffee pod machine and tea/ coffee available ."

Fabulous dinner, worth the drive from Exeter, lovely drinks on arrival and warm Welcoming service. Food was on point with seasonal flavours and well cooked ,for us no weak points ,booked again for Sunday lunch .

How lovely to dine somewhere which feels so comfortable, the service is lovely, and the food really terrific. All helped by a log fire to give that sense of cosiness on a dark winter’s evenings. Marvellous place in a peaceful Somerset village.

Really very special cooking. This was my second visit and I was even more impressed with the food. The friendly professional service in this comfortable relaxed countryside pub restaurant is really worth a visit. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. Lovely little village pub food was on the whole very good however we had three confit chicken and all were well under cooked and ****. Just not good enough in such an expensive restaurant. Beer and wine were great perfect cellar temperatures. Service was exceptional really really great. I would have said the value was good until the chicken issues. Nearly £400 for the family

Truely delightful evening at the Barrington Boar. From a friends recommendation we decided to book and WOW, amazing meal in very nice setting and lovely staff . The atmosphere was spot on still retaining country inn character but serving delicious top class and very delicious food. Everything was locally sourced , cleverly thought menu and some nice twists. Definitely will return , soon! Thanks very much .
