"Walked in just after 9pm to be told rather curtly by the staff that the pub was closed. Have been going to this pub regularly on Christmas Eve before attending Carol's and midnight mass at the local church for a pre service pint. I understand that the pub is having some staffing issues at the moment, but to be told rudely that the bar was closed was not required or professional. Service: 1"

Visited on a Friday evening at 6 PM trying to get a meal. Nearly all the menu was unavailable but suspect that they didn 't want to cook anything more complicated than a burger. Food was pretty average, tiny portion and not worth £14. Staff clearly inexperienced and not particularly interested. Lovely looking pub. OK if you want to drink but not eat. Food: 1
