"We were delighted to be able to secure a booking at this busy restaurant, as we had heard good reports and we were not disappointed. We were given a warm welcome and when presented with the specials menu we were spoilt for choice. The food was very well presented and very tasty too two of us chose chicken in pancetta and one the duck with beetroot, both dishes were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The pulled chicken tarragon balls were delicious and would make a great bar snack or part of a tapas selection. There were three of us dining so we tried all three deserts and found it hard to choose our favourite but the salted caramel and dark chocolate cup won in the end. Great food, good atmosphere we'll definitely be back well done ..!!"

Corbridge is becoming a popular spot to visit, and this restaurant is no exception. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a fantastic variety of cocktails to enjoy. The staff are friendly and full of jokes, never failing to put a smile on our faces. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great night out!

Just to re address the Balance I have dined in the Duck House multiple times, firstly while living in Corbridge and then as a treat on occasions due to living further away, each time I have dined here the experience has been fantastic or why would I return the host often Jack has been simply perfect offering opinions on the dishes and compliments on the orders. The décor or the restaurant is very appealing to me due to the artwork always on display – the food is fantastic and the presentation and quality is of the highest standard. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
