"Great wee pub for lunch. Dog friendly, which is great and the food was very nice too. The staff were lovely, and the service was quick. Couldn't recommend it more. If you're in the area, then The Forth Inn is definitely worth a visit. Food drinks: The food was very tasty and all the pub classics you'd expect, such as burgers, steak pie, fish and chips, and macaroni cheese."

We ate dinner twice at the restaurant while on holiday in Aberfoyle. The salmon, chicken and haggis, and steak and ale pie were all very good. Good selection of drinks. Service: 4 Location: 5 View menu

Really friendly staff and the food was awesome. Loved the balcony to our room but the room was a little tired. Not much pressure to the shower. However, it was clean. Great location. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5

The room felt outdated, the bathroom was so so. It was clean, but just old. The pub was good. I had an excellent dinner and also a great breakfast. Definitely good value for the money you pay. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 3 View menu

well distributed tables, so much to see in an old apotheke. we had appetizers, but the nachos was a meal equivalent and excellent worth for money. in any case will visit a return. personal very dedicated and regularly checked when they need something.

we had an exceptionally good meal and excellent, friendly service last night. you could easily taste both the quality ingredients and the love that went into the kitchen. bobby was very pleasant, made excellent recommendations and treated our dog like a king. the sticky toffee is to die. the best culinary experience in old. cordially recommended!

"I went to The Fairie Tree for Mother’s Day after booking a table four weeks in advance. We were seated quickly and our drink and food orders were taken promptly. The menu offered basic pub grub, nothing fancy or a la carte. My three teenagers ordered haddock and chips, while I opted for the chicken and leek dish. A large party of 8 was seated nearby and their starters arrived quickly. However, we had been waiting for 20 minutes since ordering our food. After waiting for 50 minutes to an hour, I finally had to flag down a waitress to inquire about our food. She discovered that our order had not gone through to the chef due to a computer error, without offering an apology. Our food eventually arrived after another 20 minutes, which was decent but nothing special. When my son wanted dessert, it took another 10-15 minutes to get someone's attention. He ordered sticky toffee pudding, which again took 30 minutes to arrive even though the restaurant was not busy. We were about to give up on the dessert when the chef informed the waitress it was ready. There was no apology for the delay. When we asked for the bill, we didn't receive any sort of reduction for the poor service. The staff did not seem interested in addressing our concerns, and overall the service was slow and unfriendly. The food was overpriced and mediocre. I do not plan on returning as the experience was disappointing."
