"Been past loads of times but never realized what we were missing out on. Called in on a Saturday dinner a lovely friendly greeting shown to table and orders taken all with a cheerful smile. Now then yes there can be a short wait but when the food arrives it is stunning in the meantime take in the atmosphere of this gem in the middle of nowhere. Onto main course well worth the wait and very tasty. All in all a good call and will definitely revisit. Admittedly it is not cheap But you will get value for money. Well done Team cracking job well done."

The food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. It’s great to see a busy pub, especially in the middle of the week. All of the food we had was really tasty, the steak was cooked perfectly and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We visited this place today for Sunday lunch, outstanding food, staff, location and a beautiful place. Our dog had her own tub of doggy ice cream, we sat in the well maintained gardens. Highly recommend, definitely be returning when we're on holiday in the area again. Thank you all your efforts are appreciated.
