"We were lucky enough to score the last free table for their three course pre theatre sitting. The restaurant is lovely, stylishly furnished only slight downside is a spiral staircase to access the toilets which may cause problems to some with limited mobility. The complimentary starter of warm, homemade bread, lemon butter and pea dip set the tone for the meal delicious, as was the haggis, neeps tatties and cod pate starters. The coley with smoked haddock was unusual and very flavourful, as was the pork shoulder, and we fought over the hand cut chips! I had a lovely dessert of apples, elderflower ganache and gooseberry ice cream whilst my partner chose Cheddar which was eye wateringly strong! Fairly short but unusual wine list, reasonably priced. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, finding extra seats to allow us to join a couple with whom we had struck up a conversation. Will definitely return if we are in the area, a highlight of our trip."

"Dreadful customer service. Our friends gave us a voucher for a very special birthday which we couldn’t use last year because we were both ill at various times. We did try to book in November but they are closed on the night we could make it. We’ve now tried to book this year but as the voucher is just a few weeks out of date they won’t honour it which seems ridiculous as the voucher was for two of the chef’s tasting menus and all paid for so they have had the money. We had actually already booked a table and Richard the manager was quite friendly but when he heard we were using a voucher (even though it was a gift voucher! he suddenly changed tone and said he didn’t have the table available! We would have been spending a lot more than the voucher on wine and champagne as it’s a birthday celebration but he clearly didn’t care at all. It’s so shortsighted and speaks volumes about their attitude to good caring customer service. What a shame, we won’t be back."

"beautiful exterior and interior settings with attentive waiting staff at the entrance, ready for customers. we ordered an breakfast plate and an egg benedikt together with a big bailey’s latte. the black pudding is particularly delicious and well spiced because I had havd pudding that was much too salty to my lust before. we also surprised to find out that willows also some popular baked (coffee tower, yam yum etc). sold by the famous fisher donaldson. total great breakfast experience and is definitely worth a visit!"

"I popped into Broth3rs on a whim, on the way to the restaurant I intended to go to and I guess I'll never know whether that was a good idea. There's two ways into Broth3rs and I think I came in the back way. I walked through an alleyway, into a courtyard and then down a short hallway to the restaurant. The reservation system was by the door on the other side of the room. It was only awkward briefly as I was seen quickly and directed to a table. I got tap water without asking, which is great and serviced without a fuss. My meal was the Broth3rs pizza and then a slice of vanilla cheesecake. Hands down: the cheesecake was the best course. It's a bit unusual for the titular pizza in an Italian pizza to be beaten by dessert but it was. The pizza was fine, better than the cardboard from the franchises but not on par with the sourdough masterpieces I've become used to. The base felt almost dry and crumbly in comparison but I ate it eagerly. Equally, the topping wasn't heaped but it wasn't sparse either. In constant, the cheesecake came with cream, strawberries and a lovely sauce."

"O.M.G! Amazing ... I have had various pasta dishes from here and there hasn't been a single one that hasn't been heavenly, indulgent, rich, tasty, taste sensation! Sooooo good! Wish I could have it every single night. The garlic bread is absolutely delicious, rustic so fresh and flavoursome none of this prepackaged plastic stuff! My stepdaughter says it's the best pizza she's ever had .. again none of the processes fake pizzas you get, fresh pizza sauce with chunks of tomato mmmm! Pepperoni a bit spicy for me and my partner but stepdaughter loved it! The staff are so kind and polite always up for a laugh! Will be ordering here plenty more! Love it!"
