"we enjoyed our meal the first time that we went and today the 2nd mai back to celebrate my 80th birthday. if something was better to eat. the homemade steak and ale pier was enjoyed by some of our party and the extra jug of the engraving was very well preserved. I had the salmon salad from the special board and it was delicious. the house made cheesecake was an absolute joy, everyone who had cleared it their plate. I had a nice cup of coffee. friendly, welcoming pub with delicious food. I can't recommend it enough, we're definitiw back."

excellent food and a warm welcome. home made pie with short crust pastry was nice to see as I did not have a fan of a top of meat top buffer bakery and when was the last time that she hate on the menu saw a very under used meat. this was our first visit will not be the last
