The Nook Cafe - Menu

A warm welcome, good menu and excellent food. A pity the place is so small as there are many people looking in and not able to dine.

Lovely little place with great food and attentive staff, I’m glad it was busy and didn’t mind waiting a little it was worth it and locals should be happy to have a lovely place like this on their doorstep.

I decided to take my fiancée their for a change so the skinny hot chocolate is lovely and yummy and the lemon tart was lovely and soft so the lady was helpful in the cafe giving us good services in my life so I shall be back with my mates again View menu

We waited nearly 40 minutes for an all day breakfast. When it arrived it was the smallest plateful of food I've ever seen, it looked like they had used one mushroom between us. Such bad service, a total rip off for nearly £25. Never going back there.

A good, local neighbourhood cafe. There is lots of competition and sometimes people might not get to The Nook. It serves a mixed menu of sandwiches and all day breakfasts. Have had lunch and brekkie here and both have been good. Staff are friendly and whilst not the cheapest of places the food is always good quality.

Called in for lunch after a bracing walk on the beach. We had built up quite an appetite! Greeted warmly. Ordered two flat whites, then chose our food. Coffees arrived promptly, were hot and tasty. I had chips, eggs and chorizo, it was absolutely delicious, I didn't leave a scrap, in fact I even pinched a bit of toast from my Husband's breakfast to mop up my plate! My Husband ordered a full english and everything was cooked just to his liking. Will definitely go back. View menu

We called in here looking for something light, as neither of us was really hungry ahem! The place was light, bright and very clean, and extra points from me for having paper towels in the loo. So my ‘something light’ was egg and chips and my husband had the full English breakfast, all breakfast items being available until 4pm. The lady in charge could not have been more friendly and attentive and the food, freshly made, was delicious. And do you know what else was delicious? The tea! Sounds silly maybe, but it’s the first pot of tea I think I’ve ever enjoyed with a meal out. Would highly recommend.

Came here for a catch up with a friend with my 4 month old baby. It didn’t feel too small to accommodate my pram despite it being a small establishment. The staff were great they took our drinks orders and were happy to wait for food orders whilst I fed my daughter. I ordered the coronation chicken salad which was delicious! Even tasted nice cold which tends to be the case with a baby! They have baby changing facilities when I asked, the woman even offered to help set up the nappy changing station. I would recommend this cafe for it’s beautiful food and kind hospitality, well will definitely be going back! Thank you x

Went today for a little late lunch And whilst we got what we ordered I wouldn’t rate this establishment much higher than average Ordered a BLT and got literally a BLT on an oval plate no side salad no crisps nothing And a chicken burger on a side plate The side order order Of chips for £4 was ??????????? Totally Embarrassing Got about 12 Chips in a peanut size bowl (small chips at that) Tea for two was tea for two usually get more than two cups out of a teapot But not this teapot literally got 3 small cups out of it and at the price of it (feel robbed) Would I come back is always something I ask myself (look at previous reviews) Well this Is categorically a BIG no In todays modern society Th...
