"We had a fab time at the Pembroke on a Sunday. We took our 2 doggies so we couldn’t sit in the main restaurant but in the other pub area which was fine. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely lovely and really well priced. I had the vegan Wellington and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! The only small critique I can think of is the stools were very comfy I would have preferred a chair with a back but that’s me being picky! Deffo coming back!"

The place was absolutely packed for a televised football match. Speakers even in dining area for some reason. Sound was deafening. One poor waiter dealing with the entire dining area, so it was impossible to get served and the bar was four deep. So we left. Cannot comment on the food.

I came for a Sunday roast with my family, we were greeted by a beautiful ir at the bar, he took us to our table and took an order when we came in, the drinks immediately and a food order was taken, we both had chicken roasts that were excellent! piping hot and tasty, we had apfel crumb for desert and had a nice experience to do!

We went for pre-match lunch and drink and was very disappointed with the experience. Normally good but when you have one poor waiter trying to serve all the dining guests chaos transpires. I understand it’s busy on match days but the manager needed to take charge of situation. Real shame because it’s usually a good pub for drinks and food.

I thought that was a joke when I received an email in which the pembroke checked me. we just asked for the merciful that the kitchen was closed and the manager did not contact me to cancel. No, he didn't! she suggested we visit the Italian restaurant a few doors away. if we had wanted Italian, we would have booked it! so angry. no apologies. will never go back
