There are plenty of vegan options available, the service is quick and friendly, the atmosphere is beautiful, and there are also many happy dogs around!

Had a very nice afternoon, nice and pleasant, was a Monday afternoon though so couldn't comment what it would be like in a busy period (evening/weekends).

Lovely pub with friendly service and a great selection of local beers and ales from Long Man Brewery. They have a game cabinet that’s great for kids, and loads of outdoor seating. Couldn’t ask for more! View menu

This is a friendly, hard working, more than decent pub in idyllic surroundings which is why I have given it 5 stars for everything. The food is better than most the desserts are particularly fabulous service is spot on and the place has more than its fair share of Syssex warmth.

I have almost no memory of eating out when I haven 't walked away saying That was OK, but I have had better . But today I loved every bite! I will highly recommend this place in the future!! Staff was so kind; not overbearingly pushy or sweet... just a really positive experience! Thank you for a wonderful meal out!

The staff are unbelievably friendly, especially the landlord who was so great at accommodating our vegan, GF diets. We were able to sit inside with our dogs, or we could have sat outside in the beer garden. We shared a few different dishes between the two of us and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recently dined at a charming pub located in a country village. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming to both humans and furry friends. The pub is conveniently located near Friston Forest, making it the perfect spot for a post-meal stroll. I was impressed by the variety of vegan options available on the menu, with choices for starters, mains, and desserts. I opted for a delicious and fresh risotto, while my companion enjoyed the gnocchi. The dining area was bustling with large family groups during our visit for a half-term lunch. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

The Plough and Harrow is an absolutely lovely pub. We visited as a party of seven with three dogs and were seated at a table inside. Our drinks order was taken really quickly and when we had an issue with one of the drinks they immediately remedied it. We ordered four Franco chicken burgers, one fish and chips and two beef burgers. The food came really quickly and was absolutely delicious. The chicken burgers were a whole chicken breast that had been lightly battered, with a delicious homemade slaw and the chips were divine.
