"Me and my girlfriend went here for a NYE meal, as I always wanted to come to this charming little pub in croft as it looked so sad when it was locked up during lockdown. We finally had the chance to try it when I...booked a table for two of us. All I can say is that following a course meal, the food was nearly the best meal out we have had all year during The venue was nice and cosey, with friendly staff, and it wasn't too noisy considering it was NYE at until when we left. The beer was very good too. We will be back!"

How things change. Used to love the more traditional menu plus the few Tapas options. Now, with a new chef, they've dumped the traditional and gone Italian. I think the problem they have is that it's a basic village pub serving OK Italian food at...above average prices. Nothing authentic Italian about it. That doesn't feel like a recipe for success. In my case I'm more likely to want something other than Italian so more likely to go somewhere else the many time ls we eat out.
