"the restaurant was not used as a private function took place. a makeshift in a very empty and boring space was built with 4 tables. the chairs were uncomfortable and the basic equipment of the tables uninviting. the window and side door to the garden were left open and a children's type party with bouncy closed was right outside so that the noise level was intensive. there was no ambiente with strong lighting and no flower plants or effort made to make it similar to a restaurant. eating was ok, but no presentation and no sauce was served with a very dry salmon fillet. at a price of almost £100 with wine it was an expensive dinner. we had no appetizers and only one dessert. total a very unromantic and disappointing evening at what was the beginning of our holiday"

Wedding anniversary cream tea We were the only table in the restaurant and had to call the staff for more tea etc For long spells there were no staff in the restaurant at all Very disappointing

Went for Afternoon Tea on a quiet midweek day. The Tea was very good plentiful, so much to eat that we needed to take some of the cakes home to have later. Adnan looked after us with polite efficiency showed us around the ground floor of the hotel, plus the outside terrace with lovely views towards the Surrey Hills. We are looking forward to returning soon.
