Dropped by for dinner as tourists staying in the area. Super friendly owner and staff, good food, and great atmosphere. Shared a couple jokes with the locals on our way out. Wife had the vegan option and I had the fish chips. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We held a party in the Barn at the Three Horseshoes and it was perfect! The space in the Barn was ideal for us, the food was great, and David and Helen were so accommodating to everything we asked. We had a family get together at the 3 horseshoes. David was so helpful in accommodating us, even some latecomers (arranged in advance). Only comment is that we would not recommend the meatless roast, it is just the veg and a yorkshire. Go for the veggie burger with the roast or the veggie pie instead. Vegetarian options: An anaemic Thai Veg Curry. A few pieces of pepper thin carrot in a watery curry sauce. You should have the same amount of veg as you would have had meat, but this dish was unsatisfying and disappointing. No sign of the promised courgettes. This is possibly the most dog-friendly pub we have ever been to. We pre-booked for Saturday lunch for six people with four dogs. Good job we did as the rest of the tables were quickly taken. At one point there were nine dogs in there. No problem for the pub. There is another bar, I am not sure what the dog situation is in there, so if you are dog-phobic, I would recommend contacting the pub in advance to see what the score is.
