"Wow. Where do I start. On picking up the “food package” of my Sunday “roast” I did think about Marcus Rashfords appeal for the hungry kids.and how I can enjoy a full belly at the end of the night. I must of skipped the article in farmers weekly pricing potatoes the same as frankincense. I got back to my abode and went forth to plate up the delights of my “massively over priced gains!” To be met by three sheets of a rather chewy beef type card (could probably pass as vegan! two roast potato’s which if carbondated would proceed the Big Bang. Three striped of carrot and more cabbage than an Eastern European could lift in a week! And then we get to the gravy. Unbeknown to be there is a fluid thinner than water. And they found it! It was that thin it would find its way between the notes in a Yorkshireman wallet. Will never go back here. Nice folk though. Lovely smile"

Tasty, fresh food with great service. COVID restrictions meant we were sat outside but under cover in case of rain. Food is served in good quality takeaway boxes. Our meals all arrived piping hot and all 4 of us enjoyed our food very much. Been here 4 or 5 times now, looking forward to going back again!

If you have not been here since The Tigers Head reopened on 11th December 2020 you need to come. You are missing out on great tasting food and and great hosts. I can vouch for the best tasting chicken curry I’ve had in a long time. The Brie fondue and coconut cauliflower amazing. So lucky to have this as our local.

We stumbled upon this pub during a day out and decided to pop in for lunch. Surprisingly, it was quite empty, which is baffling given how tasty the food was! We opted for the tapas, and every dish was delicious. The staff were really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I would recommend this place based on my visit.

A group of nine of us arrived on Good Friday lunchtime (had booked for six). Staff very accommodating. We sat in the main bar area, which is very much still a traditional pub, distinct from the restaurant area. Nice range of beers and the Italian themed menu had a great range of smaller and full size plates. Most of us ordered several small plates and we agreed these were very good. Food was served promptly and service was good. We would recommend a visit and will be back next time we are in the area. Our view is this pub is offering something a little bit different food wise, and doing it well, whilst maintaining a proper pub with decent beer options.
