The Whitchaff - Menu

The food was excellent and the service first class. Could not fault anything.The view from the dining room window was awesome. Every course was delicious and we were allowed time between main course and dessert.

yum yum! love this place! ideal for family dinner, romantic meals and business dinners. I'll come them at least once a month for years and have never had a bad meal. loading the veggie choice and special. bew the waitress is an absolute star-go, there it is brittle!

I visited the whitaff for a family celebration and I could not happier the staff that eat all excellent especially a young lady, molly she was a pleasure to offer us great customer service and even helped to entertain the younger members of the family...can not ask for more of her, highly recommend the whitaff. a special trip only made for the veggie fajitas and they have not disappointed! service was very friendly and fast. beautiful atmosphere, as always, and delicious, homemade food. large selection of elements on the menu also. the table was immaculately clean, but out. a little background sticky. thanks for a nice evening!

Can’t understand the brilliant reviews. First disappointment was the table was sticky,even the drinks glasses and serviettes stuck. We ordered and the food came out very quickly,too quickly in fact. Overall taste was good but everything that could be microwaved had been,pies,garlic breads etc. There...was a change of management some time ago but things need to improve

Our first visit here, and have to say it was outstanding from starers to the pudding!! Both myself and my partner got courses all different, everyone was tasty !!!. The cheese pie has to be one of the best iv had. The guy from...behind the bar is a massive massive asset to the place, made us feel welcome soon as we walked in. the meal was very good and most employees were very helpful. But we were constantly asked by a member when we were done. glasses were removed from the table, although we might want another drink. we have the impression that they wanted us to pack and go. the bill was crashed on the table, with the comment I left here for her. When we were past the door, we were muddled and locked behind us. it is a shame, as previous visits were very pleasant, without leaving pressure on us. we will not return. total rating based on mixed experience.

I always urinate pub-grub through the quality of the burgers they use, and I must say that this was very tasty while it remained warm. yes. it was served on a cold plate that soon made the cold. I asked. the mistake, but I was told that there was not something they did, unless asked. that is fundamental to me. I was served to my medium for rareness, which is exactly the way I like it. this was more happiness than judgment, because I was not asked how I like it. I could imagine another diner sending it back to the kitchen. the server removed my drinks from the bill (beer not big btw), but the cold plate problem was not solved.

First time I've ever been here, but remarkably impressed with the decor, we were shown to our table that we booked, staff were very friendly and helpful, we ordered our food, everything going well so far, until a party of to were put...on the tables next to us which usually wouldn't be a problem but they had a child which was about a year old and was totally out of control screaming and shouting throwing beer mats and cutlery on the floor, the parents and grandparents didn't seem to care upsetting most people in the dining room, so I explained the problem to the waitress and she said I agree and found us another table in the bar area which I was so impressed as the pub was full, I must say t...
