"Unfortunately it's a bad review. I booked a table for five 2 weeks prior (table booked for Sunday 5th November 4pm), unfortunately on arrival we were told that the kitchen was slightly behind and our table wasn't ready for us. No big problem, lucky the two people sat on our table were very pleasant and moved so we could have our table (thank you). We sat down looked at the menu, then went to order on the app. The app was telling us that there wasn't any roast dinners left, or burgers. We asked member of staff and they said that this was correct. It would have been nice to have been told when we turned up that they had ran out of the main thing we'd gone there for, rather than moving two people to another table, seating us, then us getting up and walking out 5 minutes later. Overall pretty poor. The staff were polite and I understand it's not their fault and these things happen but surely management must foresee Sundays being busy for roast dinners?"

I’ve been here twice since it’s been refurbished. Once for lunch and last night for drinks with friends. The pub looks fantastic with a great selection of food and drinks to choose from. Staff were friendly and the live music last night was great. The Three Brooks Pub is definitely my new go to local pub!

Food was very good and quick arriving, except our onion rings were missing! Helpful staff. The only down side was there wasn't a table ready for the 2 of us even though we had booked we were placed next to 2 tables of friends who were only enjoying themselves but incredibly noisy we found it hard to have a conversation. The area we were sat in had a low ceiling which worsened the noise level. View menu

Didn't fancy cooking this Christmas so me and my partner went just the 2 of us for their set Christmas menu. Very happy! Turkey with all the good bits, duck (which I tried some of my partners and it was lovely) and plenty of brandy sauce with the pudding. All the people working did a great job with our food and drinks and I'd like to say thanks for giving up time with your families to provide us with an excellent Christmas dinner!

I visited with my friend for a chat over a meal. Unfortunately the pub was very crowded and noisy so from that point of view it wasn't a good venue to catch up. On arrival there was no one available to welcome us to the restaurant side of the pub so we weren't sure what to do. Having said that, when we found staff members to help us they were friendly, approachable and helpful. In particular, the staff went out of their way to assist my friend with menu choices given that she has food allergies. The bar was very busy so it was a little difficult to order food and drinks initially. However, when we managed to get to the till, the staff were again approachable and helpful. The food was good. "Went for an impromptu meal with her indoors, as this was a local pub we've not been in for a long time we thought will pop in. Greeted by an over enthusiastic bar person who was dragging out the empties from the night before, ordered a couple of drinks and we sat down with the menu's, after perusing the menu we were ready to order, at the same time we were ready a regular couple walked in and sat at there regular table and oredered there regular meal, but the regular gentleman actually wanted an extra sausage with his sausage and chips, well! The kerfuffle this caused was astronomical, this conversation went on for Many many minutes, my wife and I was desperately trying to catch her attention to have another drink, eventually my wife went to the bar and waited, we got served eventually. Then our food came out of the kitchen, we went for the light bites as we were in a snacky mood, Chicken strips Mozzarella bites Chips with curry sauce and nachos. We never got the nachos as there was no guacamole BTW Chips came out which were actually fries, covered in this sauce, gross, then we had 3 chicken strips with no garnish £4.95 £1.63 each Then 4 mozzarella bites came out, no, nothing else just 4 mozzarella bites, £4.95 £1.24 each. So if you want have your pants pulled down and be robbed of your hard earned cash then this is the place to go, as for me and my wife we won't be. We did mention the poor quality and value for money but it was brushed under the dirty carpet and she was going to feed our comments back to the kitchen."

"I was excited to revisit the New Inn after many years, as it used to be a favorite spot of mine. My group of 8 had pre-ordered at the request of the New Inn, but we were told 15 minutes after our booking time that our food was just being prepared. An hour later, our food still hadn't been served. After checking with the staff, the manager assured us that our order was next. Another 10 minutes passed before our food finally arrived. The gammon came with sides that we didn't like and were not mentioned on the menu. The portions were oversized, which was nice, but they were too much and off-putting. The salad trimmings were of poor quality. The fish in batter was enjoyed by those who ordered it. The main meals were okay, but I would have preferred better quality over quantity. We had to chase the staff for a glass of water, and even after being offered dessert menus, no one came to take our order. When we decided to follow up at the bar, the manager seemed more interested in finding out which staff member had failed to take our order than in solving the issue. The service was okay but could have been better, as no one checked on us after our meals were served. It seems like the staff could benefit from more positive training from a supportive mentor. When we asked for the bill, it took a while for it to be brought to us, so we ended up paying on the way out. It's a shame, as I had fond memories of the New Inn, but I am unlikely to return after this experience."
