"I visited the farm shop today for a few items, it's a nice place stocked with all sorts of delicious produce and a proper butchers. Some things were a little expensive but you expect that from a farm shop. After shopping I really wanted a coffee and a quick bite to eat as it was approaching approaching the lady on reception she seemed to look me up and down and even though I could see lots of empty seating I was informed they where full. I think I was turned down because I had walking attire on and hadn't shaved....certainly that's what the look I was given felt like.I shan't go back to either the shop or restaurant and looking at the Incredibly high ratio of average, terrible and poor reviews they might not be there soon shockingly high. Seems management are not fit for task and have a very short sighted view of customers. The covid statement is acting like an apology for this poor customer regard. Its a shame as it seems one or a few people are going to cost a lot of people their livelihoods."

Big restaurant but because of all the little cosy corners you won,t notice that. Friendly staff, great food and an huge amount of delicious desserts. Tip Don't take a starter but save the space for the desert

Great carvery on a Sunday, very tender beef and lots of it! Best of all were the puddings, so hard to choose just one, but had the Baileys Cheesecake. Must have been made with the hands of an Angel. Really great experience.

Excellent meal and a very large range of choices including dairy free, gluten free and vegan choices. Dessert choices were equally extensive and the portions of mouth watering creamy offerings were superb. Staff delightful too

The food and service here is incredible! Both myself and my family have visited here several times and we've never had a bad experience! We regularly drive down to visit from Plymouth due to how amazing it is! Can't wait for our next trip we definitely recommend it to all!

Caught the end of lunch, managed to squeeze in a duck wrap. Well worth it! Was tasty and filling hit the spot. Treated myself to a wander round the farm shop which was wonderfully stocked. Perfect if you're looking for a Cornish memoir. Ended the day in the cake shop where I eyed up the biggest éclair I've ever seen in my life. It tasted as good as it was spectacularly large

Good portion size and tasty food, but I’ve had better service in chain restaurants. The wait staff walked past us on a few occasions, without asking if we were ready to order. The drinks boy spilt my drink spilt all over me, (ok, accidents happen and luckily I was wearing black), but *I* cleaned the table (and myself), and then he still asked if I wanted a new bottle…. The wet napkin also remained on the table untouched for the duration of our meal. Lots of parking though and nice shop, with lots of tasty foods to buy.

Excellent choice if you are looking for a nice place to eat whilst on holiday. Loads of seating inside and out and most of the produce is from the farm itself which is superb. Staff exceptionally professional and polite. Ordering was simple and the food options were great. The steaks were ok. I was hoping they would be amazing but they were ok. The potatoes were great with two options offered for the table. Veg was nice so all in all really lovely evening. The cake menu is extensive and impressive. Some items out of stock or no longer offered even though the menu suggests otherwise. Cakes look amazing and was great you can have two slices as one portion. Kids will love it. We will return nex...

I’ve given the restaurant 4* because of a Sunday dinner we had. I ordered Pork with crackling which I had before and which was fab. There was no crackling left but they told me that as they put my meal on the table without it. We had ordered the meal for 6:15pm which on reflection for Sunday lunch was a mistake which won’t be repeated. We went again Thursday evening I had the sizzling beef with extra fresh chillies see photo. Fantastic the beef was in fairly large chunks and was tender and tasty BUT we had chips, dauphinois potatoes and vegetables which came as standard together with egg fried rice. I thought they had got it wrong but it came as standard excellent food and generous portions....

My wife reminded this place from 3yrs ago, I had forgotten about it. We returned and it is still amazing food we have taken my mother for lunch she was well pleased. First picture is my farmer's platter, second is my mum's New York Deli sandwich. There cakes and Puddings are amazing too. We went on a Tuesday early afternoon so was not too busy, but we did get asked did we book so if you can book a table. They do a roast every day it looked good. Some pictures of breakfast I hade the large one and wow it did me all day I like my food very good price think mine was 9.95.... 2 sausage 2 egg but I had scrambled so seems more 2 bacon (may want to ask to cook a little longer) Beans, sliced fried p...

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
