"Our first visit. And it WON 'T be the last Thank you Tina, although the pub was almost fully booked you gave us a warm welcome and fitted us in.the homemade steak pie was full of tasty tender meat and VERY nice. I had the smaller serving of liver and bacon how great to have that option and that too was superb . Didn 't have room for a dessert, but couldn 't resist the salted caramel profiteroles, so Tina happily supplied us with a doggy bag. Oh how nomnomnom they were. Thank you 2mile Oak, you are now on our go to list See you again soon Mick Yvonne."

A lovely traditional country pub. A great selection of drinks especially the real ale direct fro. The cask! Thetford was delicious and the service excellent.

Great traditional pub with absolutely lovely staff. Food was incredible and definitely get what you pay for biggest chicken burger I’ve ever had. Garden also very cute.

Out with my family last night for my birthday, this is the best place, love the food, staff and owners, had a great time will be there again in June for Mums birthday, thank you xx

Great to able to choose a smaller serving. I had roast beef which was OK but not the best beef, vegetables were very tasty. Service to a group of 7 people was slow and waiter showed no urgency.

We call in a few times during the summer when we are staying in Devon. We are always made welcome , staff are polite and friendly. The food is always delicious, recommend the fish pie, best we've ever had.

Well what I can I say. Absolutely gorgeous food, fantastic staff and a lush atmosphere. This is the pub to go and visit! Thank you for a lovely evening and singing happy birthday to our daughter as you brought her dessert out. Perfect . See you again soon. X

Yesterday entered for lunch. I didn't book a table. I just had the chance to get one. very friendly reception from all staff. they found a table for four no problem. drink order was then taken. I didn't have to wait long. When the food arrived, it was hot. like my meal. the best meal I had in the time. the environment and atmosphere were relaxing. will pay them a visit.
