"I hadn't been to Anupam in many years, recalling it as a great Indian restaurant. When I returned to Malvern, I decided to dine there with a friend. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The waiter's behavior was odd and nearly rude. His comment about Jalfrezi being "what you people eat," followed by a dismissive remark that it wasn't suited for Indians, was off-putting. I chose to have a Madras instead, but the entire meal left much to be desired. The Madras was more like a watery soup with only four pieces of chicken. It was, without a doubt, the worst curry I’ve ever tasted—bland, lacking spices and heat, and reminiscent of eating flavorless soup. I’ve decided not to return."

I won a competition for a three-course meal, and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. The food was absolutely amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely be returning with family and friends. Highly recommended!

My partner had an incredible meal here on October 8, 2017! The staff was attentive, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Service was brilliant for a Saturday night (was restricted for time due to a show at the theatre). The food was bland though. Asked for a spicy masala which I was told was madras heat, no heat at all and was pretty boring. Wife’s curry was the same, pretty dull. Bread and rice were really nice, starters were ok.
