"The site is privileged, and it is the only thing that saves the truth. Seeing the letter gave us a very good impression as it was short, but nothing could be further from the truth. The croquettes were reinforced concrete, nothing soft. The octopus is a work of art and deserves special attention and review the strategy: They charge you €26 for a plate of octopus that is a leg cut in half, achieving the optical effect that it is 2 legs, but of course nothing is further from reality. Congratulations on the magic trick, it's sublime. We don't drink alcohol and not wanting wine, it seems that the waiter was upset by making a kind of fuss, result: 200ml cokes that were hot. Finally we tried the meat that was nothing special, let's go without shame or glory. The treatment by the waitresses is very correct, but the food is worthless. The price would seem correct to me if the food was of quality, but it is very, very far from it. Too bad because the views are amazing Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3"

View menu

Very good food and charming waiters The menu of the day for 21 Euros was excellent value with added pre starter and acorn liquor at the end of the meal non alcoholic option as well The food was aimed at showcasing local cuisine and it was very interesting Only slight criticism was the portion size which was enormous but would certainly recommend

Had a great 2nd night in the fantastic small town of Trujillo, Bizcocho is situated in the amazing plaza mayor, so you can't miss it. Front of house was run by a young lady Alena who spoke perfect English I'm sure many other languages, food was amazing along with the service, would recommend you too visit this fantastic restaurant, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Added bonus it's not expensive. View menu

"Meseguera is a beautiful restaurant along one end of Plaza Mayor, with some very nice touches, including the dinnerware and napkins. I was seated at an intimate table beneath the stairs, which felt very cozy. There were a couple of other tables filled, some already eating while they watched a fútbol match on a mobile phone, and others still deciding what to have. The menu was a QR code that was nicely displayed on a small wooden box; I scanned it, and looked over the offerings. I ordered a vermut while I made up my mind, and ended up having Pluma Ibérica, which is a cut of Iberian pork, taken from the back, near to the neck. Pluma means feather in Spanish, The name of this selection comes from the shape of the cut; it comes to a point at one end, much like a feather. The meal was plated wonderfully, with zucchini, potato, carrot, and tomato on a small skewer, next to the wonderfully done pork. It was cooked just as it should be, seared on the outside, and medium rare on the inside, with salt flakes across the top. The flavor was perfect, and I had to force myself to take my time and enjoy every bite. The dessert menu had so many choices, many of which I had tried before, so I picked something new; the milhojas con mousse de chocolate y frutas rojas (mille-feuille with chocolate mousse and red berries). The flaky pastry was filled with a light chocolate mousse, covered in strawberries, with dark chocolate chips alongside. To say that it was heavenly would be a disservice to exactly how good it was. This is a great place to have a meal, and be treated like someone special."
