My wife had the tasteless sausage and mash in the end, which wasn't what she wanted and I had one of the toughest steaks I had ever hsd in a restaraunt. "I only visited the restaurant and ordered the steak rare, with shallot. The steak came well done, overcooked, sadly turning good meat into dry, tough meat. Worse still, when serving me the dish, the waitress dropped the only vegetable accompanying the meat on the table. So far, nothing unusual, accidents happen and are understandable. However, instead of offering me the chance to put the dish back together in the kitchen with a new garnish, the waitress simply apologised and left. If I wanted to, I could eat the vegetables straight from the table. To summarise, it's a restaurant with a good atmosphere and potential. The service, however, has made it too expensive for what it offers."

"We had our first visit to Antica Roma tonight, just my husband, myself, and our daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, with excellent service and amazing food that was not only delicious but also piping hot! The waiters were very friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and even sharing a few laughs with us. We found the prices to be quite reasonable for both the food and drinks. A major bonus for us was the availability of a disabled parking bay right across the street, as my husband has trouble walking long distances. We definitely recommend this restaurant and are already planning our next visit."

"We had a wonderful lunch here after our walk. There were 16 of us, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating or efficient. Our dogs, who were a bit muddy from our hike, were also warmly welcomed and received special treatment with water and treats. It seemed like the bar was manned by just one person, but he worked tirelessly to ensure we were well taken care of, taking our orders and serving drinks swiftly and with a smile. Most of us ordered sandwiches, accompanied by chips. The bread was incredibly fresh, and the sandwiches were generously filled. The chips were served piping hot as well! Everything was delicious! Thank you for making a group of muddy walkers feel so welcomed and for providing such a fantastic lunch experience."

It felt like you are just paying for an empty plate Sat on a cold table.We used to like coming here a lot but we will not be returning any more witch is very sad. We will go elsewhere for our meals and get good value for are money and tasty food What is wrong with the (Lansdown Arms) Don't get value for money in the food. Some items was not available on the menu. Overpriced. Portions of food not enough off."
