"Came for lunch with the wife, baby and dog. Very warm welcome from the guy behind the bar. Sat down for lunch and doggo got lots of fussing from land lady. Whilst waiting for lunch to be served little one was getting hangry and the landlady kindly gave up her chips that was supposed to be her lunch whilst working on her laptop. Top class service and very very welcoming. If we're ever in the area again I'll be back for sure. Thank you very much!"

I have found the George and Dragon. to be a good pub great atmosphere. I have been coming here for 10 years. the new owner always takes the time to come and speak to us nice lady.

We had a snack lunch here. It was clean and friendly. They were understaffed though. Too much work for one young person. When the food arrived it was delicious and well presented. The prices were extremely reasonable. Can highly recommend.

Eighteen of us booked in and made incredibly welcome. Nothing too much trouble to the staff. Special mention to Sonia who prepared amazing food and also cut a birthday cake for one of our party. Food arrived swiftly, we had pre booked, and all hot and delicious. Two.meals for £13.50 it was amazing. If you've not tried it you are missing out.

We visited the George and Dragon for dinner and had an amazing experience. Kev, the friendly bar manager, provided outstanding service, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was fantastic, with some helpful and friendly locals. Food and drinks were enjoyable and very good value for money. Highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area!
