"had the most beautiful afternoon. excellent attentive staff, fabulous good eating. served in the most beautiful porcelain canyons and sauces and cakes. Doesn't it hurt China side panels, though maybe all rethink? ... but that didn't spoil a wonderful afternoon! we were there for over three hours and didn't feel insured or rushed to finish our contract. because it was a nice tasty. by recommended. spotless clean, very welcoming, nothing was too much annoyed. Not that there are any problems to complain about .. I will go back to try other joys from the different other menus. I hope that others enjoy this beautiful place;o it is one of those places they want to tell everyone about. Thank you!"

I had lunch at this restaurant one day and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. While it may not be the most affordable option, the food was great and the service was friendly and efficient.

This restaurant is a great choice for dinner. It is important to make a reservation in advance as it tends to be a popular spot. The staff is young, friendly, and always willing to assist you. The dishes are well-prepared, delicious, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Wasn’t a great first impression going in. Premises a little tired and could do with a refresh. One table had to move when it started raining due to a leak. Service was ok, a little hit and miss and probably under staffed. Cocktails were great and food was great which is why I rated it 4 star. Overall a mixed experience. View menu

My friends and I decided to have lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. We checked the reviews on TripAdvisor, which were mixed, but we decided to take a risk. However, we were extremely disappointed. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the service was terrible. We waited for 10 minutes and no one came to serve us, so we ended up leaving. What's even more disappointing is that they required a £20 deposit when we made the reservation. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

We had a reservation for breakfast for four people. We were seated quickly, but then had to wait 20 minutes before we were offered any drinks. Another 20 minutes passed before they took our food order, after I complained. We then had to wait even longer for our food to arrive. People who arrived after us were served before us. When I brought this up to the manager, he just brushed me aside and said they were extremely busy. Well, yes, I could see that, but maybe they shouldn't accept bookings if they can't handle it! I felt bad for the young wait staff as there weren't enough of them. The food was okay, so no complaints there, but the service was terrible.

"Hearing about a traditional fish and chip shop in Prestwich, complete with a restaurant and bar, and cooking in beef-dripping with the option for vegetable oil (call to confirm vegetable oil availability), I was compelled to check it out. Upon entering the shop, I found myself in the bar area, with access to the restaurant located upstairs. The bar was furnished with tables, chairs, and stools for those wishing to enjoy a drink or avoid the stairs. It is encouraging to see young people engaged in the fish and chip shop trade, potentially leading to more traditional establishments in the future. The cod, although slightly smaller than expected, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips were among the best I’ve had in a long time. The pea fritters, black pudding fritters, and tartare sauce were also excellent. In-house pies were available as well, so I sampled the cheese and onion and meat and potato varieties and can recommend both. There is parking available across the street and on-street. However, the opening hours might not suit those looking for a lunchtime meal, as at the time of this review, the hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and closed on Sunday and Monday.
