"My wife and I arrived late in the evening during our first visit to Paris. we were hungry then we went out to walk on Montorgueil Street at 11:00 to check the restaurants, because we had heard from one of our free friends that it was a great neighborhood for gourmets (even if we are not in any case the "gormands"). While we were standing outside the restaurant, checking the menu, in French and trying to interpret what we were looking at, one of the servers came out and gave us a menu in English. He was friendly and helpful and that's all it took to sit down. My wife ordered a Thai salad and ordered a caesar salad, with some glasses of good burgundy. the portions were large enough for us for a dinner. Both meals were really good. I didn't have a caesar with fried chicken straps stacked like on caesar before, but it was a fly. the total dinner was about 55 euros. We were happy and it was a good start for our holidays in a really great city."

Good quality meat (burgers, steak tartare and I can recommend the epaule d 'agneau . Some nice wines sold by the glass. Although the terrace was packed, we didn 't have to wait long to be served. Our very friendly waiter added to the good experience! View menu

It is a classic French restaurant where you will find new and classic dishes.Very good service and good food.In a corner of Montorgueil Street, with a huge outdoor place. I strongly recommend choosing a table outside and watching everyone on pedestrian street. Will I come back? Yes!

It was a terrible experience for me and my friends. Although it was located in a charming neighborhood, the service was horrible and authoritarian and arrogant servers. prices are super high and even if I decided to go for a steak (yes, the meat is madly expensive here), the food was not so good (too cooked) and clearly not representative of these prices. However, the servers were the worst because they only deal with good customers who spend a lot of money in high-end meals. apart, they're just trying to get you out.

we recently stayed in a very close apartment to the compas and we had a good breakfast there in our first morning in Paris. Keep in mind that the default style for egg preparation in most restaurants is the sunny, very liquid side and with very little cooked bacon (for many Americans.) if not your preference, opt for the mixed omelette option, which is also delicious. We also came to the compass at the end of the afternoon while we were a little hungry, and we each ordered the levied fish that was one of the day's meals. It was also very good. it is a good place for a meal or simply a drink at any time of the day. View menu

super personal. so efficient, hard and courteous. It is an ideal place to watch people, cocktails and simple food well made. Very French. outside, it's like a bum-less perch at 8 o'clock with everyone crushed, but good, it's part of the pleasure. radiators keep you warm while you watch the Parisians make shame to the tourists passing through Montorgueil Street. the only drawback is that French people have not exceeded the stage of Smoking in chains, so prepare yourself for clouds of scent smoke (go inside if you don't like passive smoking and smearing clothes, but I used to it and loved the atmosphere.) try the excellent range of mojitos and sour bourbon.

We tried this restaurant in one of our first betting nights. trying to bring 4 people who all have different food needs (vegetarian, hard teenager, a greedy parent and someone who eats anything) to get along has found success here! the staff spoke English and was quite welcoming for confused tourists with a limited French - they offered us a menu in English. food was excellent, even if a little expensive. I had the lamb and the waitress recommended a perfect wine to complete it. My son (the hard eater who prefers cheeseburgers) tried it and ate half of it! potatoes were fabulous - they were accompanied by a mountain of perfectly roasted potatoes. My husband took the fish of the day, which wa...
