This restaurant is perfect for dining in or takeout. The food is always amazing and the staff is friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere was decent, but unfortunately the food was not very good and the prices were high. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I have visited this restaurant three times already and I absolutely adore it. There are so many options for vegans and I always have leftovers to take home. I especially enjoy the seaweed starter. I will definitely be returning.

I've been eating here for years now, but our last visit will be the last. It seems that in dealing with the cost of living crisis, they've decided to drop quality and portions over putting prices up. This combined with easily one of the worst customer service I can think of means there are just better options that I don't have to drive 40 minutes for. Genuine shame as the food was truly excellent a few years back.

To be honest, this restaurant serves some of the best sushi on the west coast. It rivals Glasgow and is only slightly behind a couple of places in Edinburgh. I first tried it during lockdown and had some great takeout orders. When I dined in a couple of years ago, I wondered if the quality would still be the same post-COVID and inflation. I'm happy to report that it is. The salmon and tuna nigiri, in particular, were of much higher quality than what you typically find. View menu

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. I tried the pork ramen and the mini spicy tuna sushi (I believe it might have been called segura, but correct me if I'm wrong). My friends who had recently returned from the States said it was the best food they had tasted since they came back to Scotland. Tracy even mentioned that it was the best ramen and sushi she had ever tried. I completely agree. The staff were attentive and friendly. I have also ordered takeout from this place before and it was delicious. A must-try for anyone in East Kilbride.

Normally I only leave reviews when I have a bad experience. Today in that exception, I was in the restaurant today with my brother and niece and it was the best experience I've had in a restaurant the food was fantastic and fresh. What made our experience even better was the service! 10/10 very attentive and my niece was loving the interaction by the service staff. I didn't catch the staff names but it was a man and a women. Thank you very much for making our lunch very enjoyable. Can't wait to return again! Well worth the travel from Glasgow keep doing what you guys do best Sincerely Ryan

Really high quality and an excellent selection of food. The menu has great options for traditional and contemporary Japanese starters, mains and sides. If you love sushi Oiishi 's sushi chefs always deliver amazing sushi, and yet again there is a large selection from full fancy rolls to smaller portions. If you 've not tried sushi and are unsure of it, don 't be afraid to order something small as a side or a larger roll as a shared side for the table. People can often be put off by the idea of 'raw ' fish, however Oiishi use sushi grade fish that is the highest quality fish you can buy and is safe for consumption raw.
