My family and I have visited this restaurant a few times and always enjoyed a decent breakfast. It's a fairly small place but the food is good and the service fine.

Had afternoon tea with some friends. Service 1st class, excellent quality sandwiches, scones with Jam and clotted cream and cakes. Brilliant value and would recommend a visit.

I recently dined at this restaurant and I will definitely be returning. The Relish Club Sandwich was exceptional. My wife enjoyed the Southern Fried Chicken Wrap, which was also very well presented and delicious. Overall, a great spot for lunch, highly recommend it.

We ordered sandwiches and waited for nearly an hour before they arrived. However, both sandwiches were completely different from what we had ordered. We live in Leigh and our loyalty has always been with a rival breakfast cafe. We thought we 'd try somewhere new and 'shocked ' was the word of the day. Our food was 50% less in cost, the service was much much nicer with smiles and welcoming body language, my coffee was arguably the best I 've had in Leigh and the quality of the food second to none. I highly recommend giving it a go. The trendiness of surrounding competition means they live off their reputation and fail on value for money.

Walking through Leigh, the smell of fried onion filled the air outside the shop. I couldn't resist to try the cafe of which the smell was coming from. Ended up being the worst customer service experience of my life. The service was poor at best. All our drinks an food came out separately, the staff were slow an dim-witted. Foo wasn't great. Raw poached egg on my son's plate. Really weak and horrible twinnings tea. Watery coffee, which was replaced after telling them it wasn't right. The worst part of it was the arrogant owner who can't take criticism. When asked to see the manager, he defended and excused every issue we had. I typically do not write negative reviews, but I was so disappointed by the owner's behavior today that I feel the need to warn others. Customer service is important not only when everything is going well, but also when dealing with complaints in a respectful manner. It is unfortunate that I have been a regular at Relish for quite some time, but recently I have noticed that after leaving, we smell like a fryer. Today, when I went with my family, I was treated with contempt. I sent back a jacket potato because it was hard, and despite patiently waiting for a replacement that never came, the waitress informed me that it had been removed from the bill.
