"My friends and I made a last-minute decision to go out on a Saturday night and ended up at this recently opened restaurant. I had noticed it the week before while attending a match at St James Park, where I saw that Bar Soho had been transformed into a Korean and Japanese Restaurant called Soho. When we arrived around 9:30, there were only 4 tables occupied, which made us a bit apprehensive. The manager greeted us warmly and we settled in to peruse the menu. The atmosphere was very casual, more like a laid-back dining spot than a formal restaurant, which I think works well for the nearby match crowds and students. We ordered a variety of starters, including tempura, sushi, meats, and vegetarian options, all of which were delicious. However, the main courses were a bit disappointing and fell short of our expectations. They reminded me more of a meal from Wagamama, decent but not as impressive as the starters. Since they had only recently opened and were still getting the hang of things, I plan on returning to give them another chance and hopefully have a better experience. Good luck to them!"

We went to this restaurant by chance for early dinner, and we'll definitely visit him again. I think they use good ingredients. Things are clean. The coating was nice.

Found this restaurant by chance and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The menu is Japanese Korean food. I had salmon, which was a dish to behold. The salmon melted in my mouth.

Best meal I’ve had in town for years, wasabi prawns, amazing, squid, amazing, and the beef was the best I’ve ever had, brilliant service and I can wait to go back to try the sea food platter.. x View menu

I went there for a late dinner at night. We ordered a fillet of grilled lamb, pork bread and yakisoba. The lamb was excellent in the way they cooked it). The bollo is a little disapproved, I'm sorry! I don't try it as Korean) and the yakisoba was fine. In general, the atmosphere is a great place to meet friends with drinks and some small snacks.

I saw this restaurant while I was with my wife, and we decided to go to dinner on a Saturday night. Good informal atmosphere, with a very friendly and attentive staff. We decided to have a mixture of Japanese and Korean small dishes. We weren't disappointed. We had shrimp tempera, lobster queues, sushi selection, Korean chilies a very tasty dish! and chili fries. An excellent variety of tastes! With beer and wine, 43. Fantastic food, we'll definitely come back!

Soho is a new collaboration with Kevin Lui, and our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. The dark walls of the original Bar Soho have been replaced with a fresh and clean makeover. The service is friendly, and it's always great to see Kevin interacting with customers. The menu is extensive, with great lunchtime and early evening offers. We have visited this place 5 times now, as it is very convenient for those in town or looking for a post-work meal (it's located around the corner from RVI Hospital). We have always ordered the Box, which includes a starter, side salad, and a choice of rice main. The food is delicious and we highly recommend it. The portions are just right, so yo... View menu

I love Japanese food, so when I saw that a new Japanese and Korean street food place had opened up just down the road I was deeply interested. The decor is very nice, and the service received was great. Sadly you don’t go to a Japanese restaurant for decent service, you come for great food, and that’s where the restaurant falls down. It’s offering is distinctly average. Not bad, but if a choice between here and Yo Sushi! Is on your mind this place is not better on the basis of the foods sampled, much better at all despite the superior bistro style decor. The prawn nigiri in particular was very poor, the chicken teriyaki very average, and the Korean BBQ wings was poor as well. The food was slow...

Please note that about a quarter of the reviews for this restaurant seem to be confused with the Soho nightclub. This Japanese-Korean fusion restaurant is located near Eldon Gardens. Last night, I visited with a friend and we both ordered noodle soup - chicken ramen for me and seafood udon for her. The service was prompt, we were seated quickly and our drink and food orders were taken promptly. However, I was disappointed to find that the chicken in my bowl was undercooked, the noodles were overcooked and sticky, and the broth was lacking in flavor. We asked for chili sauce but were given something closer to sweet and sour sauce. Despite this, the server noticed that I had not eaten much and...
