"When we got there our table had been given to someone else so we were put in a corner right next to another table within earshot for the whole evening... The starter and main was lovely but the dessert, a simple Eton mess was inedible... A bowl of mush with cream and a strawberry on top... They took it back and took it off the bill but it ruined the experience of a romantic meal."

This restaurant is a wonderful spot to meet up with friends. They are extremely accommodating and even dog-friendly. Everyone had a great time and loved the food. The average price per person is between £20-30. The food was rated a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. View menu

this is a strange....as the building and the environment is beautiful, so should be 5 stars, but eating is lacking glamour for me, and is really quite average....and so there is always a reason why we just seem back every 5 years or so. shame really, eating is not terrible, but certainly not for a special night out

Quiet table where we could chat with friends. Service was outstanding and even though there was a couple of mistakes with orders these were rectified quickly. It did take a while for our food to arrive but it was delicious when it did. Would definitely recommend to friends. Having a voucher from our Christmas meal helped with the cost.
