"I've been eating here for months and to my surprise today, I've decided to never again return or recommend this place to anyone. Why? As I sat at the counter for the first time, I did what I do at all other places, watch how they cook the food in the open kitchen. It was about 4pm, the usual people are not working in the kitchen, but I recognize the serving staff. What I noticed disgusted me. I saw one serving staff member put bowl after bowl of noodles into the microwave to heat up. Then pour the broth on top. I never saw any one of them put a ball of noodles into the hot water to cook. She'd scoop rice from the rice cooker, pour on the curry sauce but none of the usual ramen cooking procedures I'm used to seeing in other shops around the world. So I got the attention of my waitress and asked her in German why are they using the microwave to heat up food? She Didn't answer after I repeated the question multiple times. Then I thought, okay fine maybe her German is bad. I offered to ask in English but she said German conversation is better. Okay sure. So why not answer me. She said, oh you cannot see from this angle at the bar how we cook the noodles. I corrected her, and said I definitely can see if they're putting anything into the pots of water. How dare they lie to my face. Seriously I am never going back. If their Cook is not able to work then they should just close shop for the day. Don't heat up the noodles in the microwave. Now I know why the noodles doesn't taste right or have a good texture, before. I am not paying any money for microwaved foods, especially when I don't even do that at home. Shame on you for ruining ramen!"

Great food and very friendly service! The quantities are pretty big. This is a popular place so expect a little bit of waiting in lines!

Very good and authentic fast food (soups). We went to the sister restaurant with focus on sushi and Japanese dishes and we liked it a lot. A bit pricey but worth it!

Tasty ramen and hot kimchi in a Japanese restaurant run by Japanese and also visited by them. Service very friendly as is tradition in Japan. Takumi offers a variety of ramen, gyozas and even some curry dishes.

We were there with a local team member and we eat the tipical noodle soup with some gyozas and crispy chicken as starters. All dishes were good and tasty. Place is crowded but they serve the food quite fast. A nice place for an informal working dinner.

We came to Takuma accidentally, as the we were searching for a sushi restaurant, but I reckon I'll repeat. The place is small but tables are separated enough, the place is busy but you don`t feel it as overcrowded, and the service is very very nice.Nuddles are top quality and I should say the guioza

We go here every time we visit Düsseldorf, to get a big bowl of Tonkotsu ramen, and we are never dissapointed by the intense taste and quality of the food. Nice thing is that you never have to wait too long before the food is served and the queue's are relatively short compared to other noodle bars in the area.

Very little place, nice, easy to find.I went to japan 3 years ago, since then it was very difficult to me to find a place where to eat a real japanese dish. Finally I found a real japanese restaurant, with japanese staff, serving tipical hot food. It really seemed to be back in japan. Try it...you will not regret it!

We started a night of Alt-bier tasting with a bowl of noodles here. I honestly have no idea what I ate, but it was delicious. I have a suspicion we could have ordered anything off the menu and it would have been satisfying. The portion is truly prodigious and neither my friend nor I were able to finish the entire bowl. This is a lot of food for what you're paying. We had a great start to our evening at Takumi!

I was shocked to see the price of a bowl of ramen at between 10 to 13 euros! I respect quality ingredients and good technique. I am also happy to pay for a quality experience but, this is outrageous for a simple comfort food that can be prepared in large quantities and easily produced/served. To their credit, there was a line of people waiting to come eat for lunch so, I suppose they're charging what they can and people seem happy to pay the prices. The staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself was small and with very nice wooden tables, chairs, and decor. The quality of the tonkotsu broth was rich, relying on depth of balanced flavors rather than just salt or overpowering por...
