Samstagabend im Tao's, das Restaurant voll bis auf den letzten Platz aber die Bedienung top (freundlich, aufmerksam). Die Karte wechselt immer wieder mal aber die Qualität nicht! Haben ein tolles Essen genossen und anschl. rüber in die Widder Garage...

The place is super nice and the atmosphere is romantic and comfortable. However, the dishes are overpriced. We ordered some momos, grilled octopus, a poke bowl, sushi, a steak and dessert. really tasty eating, came to dinner on Monday evening and the restaurant was full. great sashimi to begin from noodles with great aromen and truffle beef tataki, which was excellent. that followed with spiced tuna steak that was perfectly cooked. the fried...rice was also very good. round a beautiful meal.

Ich habe mich auf einen sehr schönen Abend im Tao's gefreut. Immer wieder Gutes, aber auch Schlechtes gehört. Daher wollte ich mir selbst ein Bild machen. Von Anfang an war der Service zu hochnässig und schnippisch. Die Gerichte werden zwar sehr schön präsentiert, aber auch extrem schnell hintereinander. Bin ich hier am Fliessband? Mir hat es wirklich von Anfang an nicht gefallen. Und am Schluss wird man nicht einmal verabschiedet! Einmal, und nie wieder...

the terrible service, forget the courts, no excuse! I have to complain to the “director” whose apology was not apologised. in the week and in the evening the service is more professional! the ladies who for our table...was a 0!!! they advise them better to make another job! please! we had a very pleasant evening with my family but I was quite disapointed because the dishes are of different qualities that were appetizers and main course beaf were excellent, but the poke bowl had nothing special. most embarrassing for me is the price of the water bottle, 10 chf, which represents at the end 9% of the bill, this has no ecological sense, since the water of conduct is excellent in zürich. So do not take the quiet water, prefer the starter and avoid Poke dishes.

Ein, im Sommer idyllischer Garten der zum verweilen einlädt. Heute, ein herrlicher Sommertag, ein Tao's Tag, so dachten wir, doch leider wurden wir schon mürrisch begrüsst. Ein sagenhaft desinteressiertes Personal lies uns dann eine Kleinigkeit auswählen, essen und den Ort der Schwermut auch gleich wieder verlassen. Ueber eine Personalschulung sollte nachgedacht werden. Auch ist laute Musik kein Garant für coolness. Schade, denn wir hatten das Tao's an und für sich in guter Erinnerung.

Möchte man in Zürich an einem romantischen Ort gut essen gehen, dass ist man im Tao's goldrichtig.Zusammen mit Freunden habe ich einen schönen Abend im Tao’s verbracht. Die Ambiente ist gediegen und das Essen sehr gut. Die Ente kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen, noch heute komme ich darüber ins Schwärmen. Leider scheint es, dass diese inzwischen von der Menü-Karte genommen wurde.Den Service empfand ich als freundlich und angenehm aufmerksam und das "stille Örtchen" war gepflegt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist okay, d.h. wir gaben pro Person rund Fr. 100 aus.Einzige zwei Kritikpunkte:a) Die Musik, welche im Hintergrund lief, passte wirklich nicht.
