"We must of picked a bad day to visit. On arrival we tried the only ale on tap and it had that been left in the tubes too long smell so had the neck oil £6 a pint. Sat in the garden and ordered chilly/garlic prawns on sourdough £7. 50p very nice. Ordered 2 fish and chips. Mine was fair but overcooked, unfortunately my partners fish was un edible well overcooked dry and rock solid batter with chips on both plates being cooked to death. When presented with the bill i asked for the unedible fish to be taken from the bill. Along came a rather rude chap who promptly told us not to come back and had an attitude more suited to a fried chicken take away. There was not even the slightest recognition that the food was well sub standard at that our lunch had been ruined. There was no need to tell us not to return as there are many good establishments in the vicinity with civil management. Will not be going back until the management has changed and the chef learns how to cook."

This pub is currently open and all was good and fun on Friday night 2/8/24. Was able to buy and sit at the bar, table service only was thankfuly gone. Friendly service. Not exactly cheap though.

Lovely experience at a very local pub. Went in for a couple of drinks on a busy Saturday. The staff were wonderful and the service very quick. The wine was delicious. Next time we will have to get food as it smelled/looked amazing View menu

Didn't know this pub existed walked past twice. That's the only bad thing to say. The staff were so friendly and cheerful not often u have smiling staff! Well cared for pub. Lots of strange art on the wall but me casa su casa clean toilets. Did look at menu and looks tasty. Again dog friendly.

Finally got round to having a meal here and really wished we'd been sooner! Cajun chicken, fish and chips and King prawn linguine were all delicious, as we're the puddings (crumble, brownie and creme brulee). Staff were friendly and attentive. Menu wasn't extensive but I'll take quality over quantity any day. Definitely recommend thank you for a lovely evening.

A Delightful venue and meetimg point, amidst the harmonious delights of a internationally treasured hot spot, particularly by Yours Truly. There's a lovely Duck pond within casual walking distance too for the ornithologists enthusiast! I spotted quite a rare Oriental beauty down there, especially magical!!! Hopping to repeat the experience as soon as the pub opens.... View menu

I have been local to the area for around 10 years and everytime ive gone past and said to myself I gotta try it one day...I popped in here with my partner for just one drink one evening 3 weeks ago and was blown away with the service. They were so attentive and welcoming, ending up getting more than one drink and decided there, and then this would be my local. I came back a week later with the family, and again, the service was amazing. There was no fault at all they kept coming to check if we needed any drinks or food. I like the concept of the table service only and how it always felt no bother to them. No other pub offers this in such an efficient manner than these people do. Absolutely G...
