"My group of 9 friends met up at the Durham Ox for a reunion and we were all extremely pleased with the food, atmosphere, and service. We felt well taken care of and appreciated how efficient the service was. We were so satisfied that we didn't need to eat much the next day. I highly recommend this restaurant for its lovely setting. Afternoon tea was aweful. Dry bread and scones which had cream on and had gone sour. The staff were very good i felt sorry for him. We did get a refund but it spoiled our treat. Price per person: £10–20
