Excellent, good value, Sunday lunch; a pleasant physical social environment a pub that is still prepared to make serve custard with dessert a rarer rarer thing! We'll be returning soon.

I went for Sunday lunch and while there was a good selection of meats and vegetables, the roast potatoes were not as crispy as expected. The staff were exceptional and very accommodating. View menu

Our first visit to the Fox and we were delighted with its friendly atmosphere. It serves basic pub grub, which suited us fine, all at a fair price including the ales. I was further impressed by the the fact it’s community owned pub run with help of local volunteers. Best wishes for its continued success.

This pub is run by the community, with a mix of professional and volunteer staff who provide exceptional service. During my visit with a group, some ordered main meals and others sandwiches, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I booked for Sunday lunch after reading about this community pub and we are very glad we went it is simply excellent! The venue is very attractive and homely. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The seafood platter starter was excellent and our Sunday roast was plentiful and delicious. The food and drink was very reasonably priced. I have dined at this restaurant multiple times, including for Sunday lunch, sandwiches at lunchtime, and tonight for an early dinner because we didn't feel like cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, giving it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. I ordered the smoked chicken salad and my partner had the sweet and sour pork with rice from the specials board, both of which were delicious. For dessert, we had the lemon panna cotta tart. The staff were friendly and efficient, and we highly recommend this restaurant. The chef did an excellent job. We will definitely be returning.

We have just had the Best Sunday Lunch EVER, as a true brit the one thing we love is a traditional Sunday lunch and OMG the fox inn at Loxley is spot one, proper Yorkshire puddings, gravy that tasted like hot liquid beef and lashings of it with an extra jug, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, all great British vegetables at their best, roasted potatoes, parsnips, rare tender beef, well done the Fox, you are going to be our regular pub from now on, we were there as a group of motoring enthusiasts, the service was a bit of come down, no cutlery to serve veg, no sauces offered had to ask, but boy oh boy the food was stunning, oh and we met the chef, turns out he is new and we are l...

This was such a fantastic pub, run by the community. On arrival in our motorhome, we we asked if we were staying. We were told we could stay on the grounds in a field adjacent to the pub, very unexpected and great result. We were made so welcome by staff and locals who also loved our dogs. We drank cider and beer which were both lovely and fair prices for the area. We both enjoyed meals in the garden and I ate the best chips I have ever eaten in a pub. It was a lovely garden, with well tended flowers and very pretty lights. We enjoyed some musical entertainment by a young local duo and all free. Please do visit this place, it is very nice inside and out and would really welcome your custom.... View menu
