"9 of us came to celebrate a birthday with an afternoon tea. We were seated in a side shed which was fine for us. Teas and coffees came in pots and were absolutely fine. The food arrived with a gluten free option and a child option, both of which received thumbs up. I can only really judge my own food though. The bread for the sandwiches was nice but some of the filling was too dry with little to moisten the sandwich making it dry. The egg mayo one obviously got that right and was really nice, but the chicken and salad one took more chewing than it should have done. The mini sausage roll was lovey and warm…. On the outside and frozen in the centre…. Not good I’m afraid! The berries accompanying the dessert elements were good and the scone was nice along with the cream and jam. The small cake element and cupcake were overly sweet and with far too much buttercream, creating an unpleasant sweet overload that wasn’t for me at all. I appreciate that an afternoon tea has many elements and getting them all in a row is a difficulty in itself, unfortunately for me though there were a few elements that detracted from my enjoyment of it. Not awful by any means, but room for improvement. Good location, nice decor and friendly staff."

This restaurant has the best breakfast in town, with a charming setting and incredibly friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend it.

I have multiple special diet requirements. Messaged upfront and was advised not an issue. My breakfast was delicious, fresh and plentiful. My husband really enjoyed his meaty breakfast also

Went for breakfast and was really looking forward to Avocado and poached egg on toast, one of our favourites. Toast was black, avocado bland, one egg overdone and other under. Worst breakfast we’ve had!! Very disappointing.

Went for a drink and had a great coffee and pot of tea. The coffee was fabulous along with the tea which was tea leaves and a strainer. This was accompanied by a warm scone with jam and clotted cream. All was of great quality and lovely setting.

The Lincolnshire sausage and bacon sandwich was excellent. I would recommend skipping the fried egg sandwich as it was a bit bland and oily. The cappuccino was fantastic, with a big frothy top that lasted throughout the entire drink. The staff were very friendly and the cakes on display looked amazing.

Had a 30 minute wait for a prescription so called in to kill time. Ask to be sat away from others as who wants to sit next to a grizzly 2 year old! and was accommodated with no issue. Noticed they did a dairy free ice cream so orgmdered that for the poorly grumpy dairy free 2 year old, she was soooo happy. The staff are lovely, all made polite chat when attending our table. We also bought a selection of cakes to take home and they were all very tasty, especially the dairy free funfetti sponge again demolished by the 2 year old and the cookie pie (my personal favourite)

Brought my wife for an afternoon tea birthday treat. We sat in one of the nicely decorated huts. There was a family of 5 and another couple all being served afternoon tea. The food was excellent an array of sandwiches, cakes and a scone (plain one would have been better, not everyone likes currants) but delicious anyway. It states unlimited tea and coffee and I had to go and ask for more as no one came to ask if we would like more. Nice quaint place, but huts look out onto kitchen and toilet area and a man was carrying rubbish and cardboard past, not a good look, would be better moved. Would go back and highly recommended.

It was my only sister birthday and my niece's birthday and what better then to spend an afternoon having a lovely afternoon having tea with two beautiful women. My sister is terminanaly I'll and I envy the time I have with her. This was a lovely place I was made Gluten free sandwiches and I expressed what other allergies and foods I couldn't eat and they went all out . It was delightful. The sandwiches pastries and cakes we're all so delicious and there were ample of food and tea and coffee. Hopefully when I get up to Lincoln again with my daughter to visit we shall visit again . Only thing if you're not from that area you may find it a bit hard to find as it's not on a main road but right a...

We visited this restaurant with a voucher for afternoon tea given to us by friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the experience. My husband enjoyed a pot of tea while I opted for a pot of coffee. The selection of sandwiches included cheese and pickle, egg and cress, tuna and mayo, and ham salad with mustard. The bread was fresh, although I traded my mustard sandwich with my husband's pickle sandwich. We also enjoyed a small, delicious sausage roll. The two fruit scones were served with jam and clotted cream, though a choice between fruit and plain scones would have been appreciated as my husband prefers plain. The dessert selection included millionaires shortbread, carrot cake, a deliciou...

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
