"sent for a late Mother's Day meal. online booked what was easy to do. was able to change the time as later to go. the table was reserved when we arrived, limited choices as it was 3.30 clock, but we all found something we liked. cocktails special price 2 for £12 i/o £7/8 each. beautiful glasses for the drinks heavy and cut glass. main dishes were delicious, good portions and well boiled (fish chips, steak pie, pork.) I had a delicious orange lemon sponge with custard. 1 star dropped because small amount of plastic film found in pudding. also the regular ones sitting on the bar were deaf, we couldn't hear each other talking. almost another star pulled off, but that's unfair on the pub itself, sign of its success! the staff was very busy as I think the pub was full of other diners, family groups and very loud drinking. dogs welcome and water, bowls and a lot of tasty for them offered. cocktails are made. however they were very efficient, friendly and humble a credit to the place."

Best pub in Timperley and maybe Altrincham. Great food (small menu), very reasonably priced. Great drink selection, moretti and Timothy Taylor's on tap.

Popped in to have a quick drink and a sharing platter of melted cheese, pickle and bread to dip. Lovely interior /exterior. Given 3* as not enough bread given with starter and once we had eaten, i noticed the cheese was out of date by 5 days, which i know would prob be still ok and it was delicious but not what you would expect for a £10 snack. My husband raised this with the manager and he couldnt apologise enough. He offered us a drink each/pudding and we declined he gave us our money back instead. Although its not what you would expect eating out of date food the customer service to rectify the issue couldnt be faulted. I would go back again and hopefully this was just a one off!

on Saturday evening there was a meal here and could not believe how good this place was. the staff is so attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. I had the Steak Piee, real home made steak Pie! generous pieces of lean slowly boiled steak with much gravy and piping hot instead of luke warm or naked. my wife had the rump steak, which was cooked again perfectly and the price point is total for money! can not believe that this little gem was at our doorstep, while this was the best pub by far we have eaten for a long time. well done to the whole team and especially nod the chef who, once he was finished service had the able to take his time to chat with us. we will not only return, but...

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
