"Beautiful restaurant. Really lovely setting/location. Very classy decor. Perfect for a last night meal. The food itself was nice, albeit a little pricey for what it was. We had the Hummus Sharer, and Vegan Fish Chips. The sharer was lovely, but small for £8. The Vegan Fish Chips were made from banana blossom, with chunky chips, peas and tartare sauce. They were nice, but not wrapped in Nori/marinated in nori, and didn’t taste fishy Essentially, just battered banana blossom. But for some, this may be perfect as not every vegan wants the taste of fish. The drinks were lovely, although I couldn’t see if they had any plant based milks available. There were a good few vegan food options available, so it’s somewhere I would check out if you are down this way. Service was great!"

Good range of vegan options. They seem to change menu regularly and the staff know what they are talking about.

vegan platter for starter with vegan fish and chips for main. felt like they were chosen by a non vegan starter was an odd combination and main was tasteless.

Brilliant beach side restaurant. The vegan fish and chips with tartare sauce was amazing. Could only have been bettered with mushy peas. Loads of options. Friendly staff and good music

There are at least 3 vegan options on the main meal menu. I had ‘fish’ and chips (made from banana blossom). Really enjoyed it. Healthy sized portions. Well presented. The whole menu has plenty of vegan options, including desserts. View menu

Lovely few options for vegans! I had the vegan fish and chips and unfortunately found I wasn’t a fan of banana blossom, however the batter, chips, vegan tartare sauce and dessert were delicious. Staff were lovely and drinks were also great!

There were a small range of vegan options available on the menu, including vegan breakfast, fish and chips, paella and burger. As well as a vegan sundae, churros and ice cream! The food was really well cooked and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I tried banana blossom fish chips for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how great they tasted! The menu also offered a wide variety of delicious vegan options. Overall, it is a popular and highly recommended restaurant – make sure to book ahead!

Been twice, and both times the food has not been good (with the exception of the moulles). The rest of the dishes are overly salty, and the lack of fish beyond basic dishes is disappointing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

"My mate and I met at the pub for a quiet lunchtime beer and chat..it was great to see him as we had not seen each other for years and need to catch up on news... All we got was pressure and hassle from the...staff. We had our beers..two minutes later one staff member arrived asking if we needed more drinks??..No thank you...Two minutes later another staff member arrived..You gents ok??..Can I get you more drinks??....Our beer was barely touched..No thank you we are fine.. Two minutes later another staff member arrived ...Can I get you more drinks?? Then a young man arrived..Are you gents dining with us??.. we had not planned to eat, just have a beer .. Do you have sandwiches??...No we don't was the answer. Five minutes later another question if we had ordered food??.. Different staff member arrived time after time, every few minutes to ask if we needed more drinks or if we were ordering food... We ordered food we didn't want...It was nothing special..Usual pub food that is quickly forgettable..Not great food..mediocre. Only then did the hassle stop and we were left alone to have a chat. I know there is not much profit in beer...Pubs make their money on food. But the restaurant area was not busy...We were not sat in the restaurant dining area..The table was not made up with cutlery ready for diners..No further customers were sat in our area...The table was NOT required for diners. IT IS A PUB!!...People to go pubs to drink beer and spirits, read a book, chat to other folk, play cards, read a newspaper...It a place of social gathering. All we got was hassle and pressure. I do not often write reviews..Far less write a poor report..I much prefer to give praise and say things were excellent. We shall NOT return.. Incidentally, I do know and like good food..The previous evening I dined in a pub where the chef was a past winner of the TV programme MasterChef ...However, this pub food was mediocre..."
