"our meal started well, with delicious starter courses. the tandori king prawns and the mönch fish. the most important courses were however very disappointing. we love our curries. whatever the type, it doesn't have to be hot, but it should have a lot of taste. tonight we ordered one of the most main courses. one (the lambry rogan josh) was well flavored. the rest remembered a poor corma. it is sad that many Indian restaurants dug down their menus to match supposed English palates. that seems to be the case here. most of the main dishes lacked character or any significant taste. this was particularly sad, as the quality of the meat (sweet, lamb) and fish (prawns and monkfish) was good. the service was also excellent and the restaurant was very well furnished. with framed photos of Indian scenes on the walls. All right. why could it not be ready to meet the character of the building? with all means a few creamy, low seasoned dishes on a menu. However, please also offer food with a somewhat authenticity. if they do not want to eat spicy, but want to go to an Indian venue, they will be happy here. But if she, like we, enjoy her eating that makes her taste bud dance, then I would probably choose one of the norwich curry houses in the magdelin street."

The chicken was severely overcooked, only a sharp knife would cut through it. The curry was also very dry leaving me very thirsty after eating it. Good service however.

eating is excellent, the best prawn puri ever! the personal is beautiful, attentive, without being overlaid. the atmosphere is also great, a beautiful building in the historic colegate.

every evening open at 5.30 a.m., Sunday evening closed, we so good the first time that we back for our last night and tried to ate about 6 p,m each occasion, but it is very busy, so would certainly recommend booking in advance

What can I say? I will go so far by saying one of the best curry house in norwich city. if they want a nice night outside, this is the place to go .lovely feel and atmosphere also to the place. employees are all so polite and friendly and so efficient.

There were six of us in our group and we were seated right away, with no waiting time. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the waitstaff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. We spent about 2.5 hours there and never felt rushed. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would definitely return again.

Arranged for a group of work colleagues to meet here for an after work social. Booked the table for 6pm but arrived just before 5:30 for pre meal drinks… no such luck the door was locked so we went around the corner to another place that was prepared for service. Once we we’re in the atmosphere was nice, warm and cosy. We we’re sat on the table furthest from the door. Food was enjoyed by all, arrived hot and was delicious although the portions are a bit on the small side. I agree with some of the comments regarding service, it needs slight improvement in order to make the flow of the evening go more smoothly. One of our table ordered double gin a tonic and it was served in a whiskey tumbler...
