"Been coming here for years but not often during the last two. It used to be good but tonight's dinner was flavourless, I even sent it back for repair but still hardly any improvement. It was virtually a bowl of coconut cream and that's about it. The massaman was bland too although that one was requested to be mild so won't criticise for that. Normally in Thai cuisine (and at the Navigator) there is a lot of debris left on the side of the plate at the end like galangal, lemon grass, kafir lime leaves and chilies, tonight I had about 1 inch of lemon grass (not smashed), half a lime leaf and a piece of galangal about the size of a 10p coin no wonder it was bland. Might also benefit from a splash of salt (eg. fish sauce/soy sauce/salt). The manager mentioned the weekend chefs are different so this could be part of the problem.BTW, I have attended extensive Thai cooking training schools in Thailand so have a pretty good idea what it was lacking.Love the marquee, keep it there. Prawn crackers are good. Service was OK. Wont be coming back in a hurry but I will and hope to provide a better review next time; this place can be great but today was unfortunately a let down and not worth the bill."

a great foundation for us. our 2nd visit, friendly and helpful staff. that was as great as the first time. it is Thai cuisine, appetizers were tasty and frying black with pak choi and jasmin rice was also very tasty.

Monday afternoon. barry the manager was really friendly and helpful to recommend a court. noodles with pork, bark and chicken very tasty, plentiful and exactly right! a delicious meal served in a really nice, friendly pub.

visited with some friends and were impressed to find a local thai location that is too fu curries as well as simply sweet! we had tempura vegetables followed by panang pak (comes with rice) and a side of chilli tofu. everything was delicious and cheap. View menu

Had a delicious take away last night from the Navigator. Excellent service they even rang me to say they might be a bit late delivering food. They were about 10 minutes late but no problem as I had been informed. Food was excellent would definitely...recommend it.

This was my first back at the Navigator since lockdown was lifted and despite the restrictions, this was as good as ever. Sitting in the garden on a sunny Tuesday lunchtime was idyllic. The Shipyard beer was even better than I remembered. And the Thai...food was up to the usual high standard. I had almost forgotten how good it was to go to the pub. Thanks to Barry and the friendly Navigator staff for reminding me just how goods pubs can be.
